Best Fishing Knife For The Money
This knife is perfect for a boat and fishing knife. It resembles both a heavy duty Scout knife and a vintage NSN# U.S. Military Pilots/Paratrooper automatic knife with the bright orange handles and satin blade. It's sturdy with no blade play and locks up tight. It flips and opens smoothly due to the bearing in the pivot. The steel is D2 so it's a upgraded steel that will sharpen up and hold a good edge. No worries about corrosion if you wipe the blade down with a Sentry Solutions Marine Tuf Cloth. It will never rust if you always do that periodically as preventative maintenance. I'm blown away with the quality of this knife for the price. I bought some orange and green camo Survivor Paracord 550 for it to hand tie a lanyard on it for extra piece of mind. I liked this knife so much after I bought and received the first one I went and ordered 3 more to put back and keep new in the boxes for later as backups if you ever wear it out or happen to lose it. Much easier to buy extra now than trying to find another 20+ years from now. You won't be paying the price someone who still has one for sale wants for it/them either. CYI always and planning ahead.

Yes!
Value for the $$$,...10 out of 10. Stabby/slicey style grind on the leaf shaped blade. Not thick, slicer, not a chopper. Ok, the knife rocks. Comfortable in the hand, no "hot" spots, centered blade, smooth fast opening. Solid lock-up, looks great my all-black version. Another winner by Ganzo!!!

Decent knife except for the pocket clip
I like most of this knife. The handle feels good, the action is smooth and very fidgetable, and the blade is sharp and sturdy. My only complaint is that the pocket clip keeps getting loose, I'll tighten it and it will be loose again a few hours later. Overall a decent knife at a low price point, but it doesn't find it's way into my pocket as often as others because of that clip.

Top Quality EDC Knife.
This is a great EDC knife from Ganzo, a brand growing in popularity due to low price and high quality. This is the FH922PT-BK model with 3-24" D2 steel blade if unique "leaf shape" design. The blade is really sharp and the curved edge is ideal for cutting and slicing chores. For me the size is just right with a 4.33" handle length and weight of just 3.7oz. the knife fits my hand really well. This is a liner-lock design with fast flipper opening, it has stainless steel liners with black G-10 handle scales offering secure grip. All Stainless Steel parts are given a hard wearing black preservative coating.

Ganzo FH-922 - Great Everday Carry
The Ganzo FH-922 is a little gem of an EDC knife. It has great action for a flipper. The detent is tuned well and the blade flies open when the detent is broken. On my copy the liner-lock engages the blade about 20%. The action is very smooth and it falls shut with a little shake when closing. The G10 handle edges are chamferred and the steel liners have smoothed edges and are polished (nice touch Ganzo!). It's very comfortable in my XL sized hand. The jimping on the flipper tab is very good and makes flipping it open easy. The D2 blade came reasonably sharp out of the box. My copy is not super thin behind the edge but it slices fine. The pivot screw is a T8 Torx, as is the wire pocket clip screw. The two body screws are T6 Torx. Easy to take apart and service. It feels really solid and well-built. I haven't had to formally re-sharpen it yet and have just used a leather strop to keep it sharp. It strops well. Definitely recommended for the price.

Best Knife at This Price Point
This is the best knife you can get at this price. It is Ganzo's best knife - period. Such a quality knife that it is unbelievable to see it listed as a budget knife. The knife is easy worth double the price. This knife offers a sleek and clean spear point-esque blade and is razor sharp (you will get cut if you're not careful). The handles come in a variety of colors and are perfectly contoured for hands of all types and provide impressive grip. The action that Ganzo offers for their knives is insane - fast as heck! Smooth and snappy. This is a must buy for anyone that wants or needs a knife. This knife is so nice that if you already have you, you should get another one.

Another Excellent Firebird Knife
I have several Ganzo Firebird knives in the FH series. This one has a really nice simple design that just works great in every way. I'm glad to see that they finally addressed the weak pocket clip of some or the earlier FH knives. This clip is very sturdy and holds well in the pocket. This has become my favorite knife in the FH series so far. This knife cuts through cardboard Costco boxes like butter. The blade is nice and slicey, with a fairly thin full flat grind. The thickness behind the edge is about .018", which is pretty close to ideal. This knife is on the large size, but still carries well and is not too heavy for edc use. The only complaint I might have is that the jimping on the unique flipper tab is a bit too sharp. After twenty or so deployments, you start to notice how aggressive it is. I used a small machinist file to soften the edges between the jimping and all is good now. This design would also be great in a smaller version too, like Ganzo sometimes does with a few FH series knives.

Ganzo -- if you haven't tried them -- you're missing out.
I have tried several Ganzo FB knives -- each one fails to disappoint. This one is razor-sharp out of the box, nice detent, nice grippy scales, and a solid, reversible clip. D2 steel. Blade lines up center-perfect, and the liner-lock 100% engages the blade. I own Spyderco, Benchmade products -- the Ganzo FB series holds up well against those obviously superior knives. The Firebird series of knives from Ganzo are an incredible value. If you want a reliable, well-built, daily EDC that won't lighten your pockets -- this is it.
