We’ve had this product for easily 6 years now and it still works perfectly for removing food from most utensils. I first purchased it when we did not have a dishwasher hoping to make our lives easier by being able to wash tricky utensils like tongs, knives and to speed up hand washing silverware. This brush does all of that. the bristles are firm enough to remove stuck on food but not too firm that they scratch or damage utensils. More recently we’ve moved into a home with a dishwasher and I was honestly a little sad thinking that this tool would become obsolete in our lives but I have continued using it time and time again, mostly for handwashing knives. Sure, you can use a sponge or other more traditional brush to wash your knives but the ease that this product provides is worth every penny and helps me feel safer because it’s much less likely I’ll accidentally slice my finger when using it. I’m going to buy one of these for each of my friends and family this next holiday season, or for any housewarming parties or wedding presents. It really is such a useful tool and I can imagine it is a bit more accessible for someone with decreased motor function or eyesight to use as well. 10/10.

This should be a gadget at everybody's kitchen it works well for knives but the truth of it is it gets in the fork area where washcloth does not work

Actually, old people these days don't tend to have false teeth, do they? Not like the bad old pre-fluoride days, when everyone of a certain age had "dentures". Well, in Britain anyway. So, I bought this brush because my super-sharp chef's knives were always slicing through my kitchen sponges, and causing them to disintegrate in a matter of days. With this nifty little device, I can soap up the blade, and then scrub both sides of it at once, and no sponges are harmed in the making of the clean knife (although you do still need a sponge to wash the knife handles). You do need to squeeze it a bit harder than you might expect before you get the sense that the bristles are actually cleaning the knife blade, but that is a minor gripe. Overall, it's rather splendid; it only does one thing, but it does it well.

I was always worried about cutting myself when I washed my knives. I had been putting them in the dishwasher washer, which dulls the edge. This gadget works beautifully and now I can wash by hand and not use the dishwasher

This brush is just what you need to clean silverware before either putting in the dishwasher or washing by hand. The opposable bristles clean both sides of the silverware at the same time and gets all the stuck on things off. You get the silverware cleaned off in half the time. The brush looks like a set of wierd dentures, but the bristles are soft enough to handle the largest spoon you have but sturdy enough to last awhile. The whole brush is small enough to fit in one hand and the outside is slightly roughened so you can hang onto it easily. I think it is even kind of fun to use.

I guess it works out right on knives but only if you already have soapy water in a tub or a bowl in your sink I guess because it doesn't hold any Suds or soap in the bristles. It's not really a problem I just usually only have a soapy sponge. I've never been in the habit of having soapy water that I clean all the dishes with although that's probably better for a water conservation I know. Anyway the point is it works all right if you wash the knife or silverware immediately but it doesn't have any real scrubbing power and I don't think it was worth the money in my opinion. It seems like a really cool idea but they could definitely design a similar but better product with the same concept in mind. I wish I would have saved my money.

This is a great tool for safely washing your best knives. So much easier than a dish cloth or hand washing serrated knives. My wife was impressed and wanted me to buy more for gifts.

Very useful and works well. After several months of use, the bristles are still intact and don't seem to be affected at all by the knife edge. Cleaning kitchen knives is so much easier with this.

This product is awesome except that it doesn't do good with small knives because you need to apply a lot of pressure on the edges to do its job. The wifey hates that she loves it
