Totally useless at 500 feet. Most systems can only work up to 320 feet. However, it is a great buy due to the fact i have plenty of cat 6 that i can install ends on and cut to suit my needs. Nice quality feel. The other lengths i slso bough produce fast results and great images on my 4k system.

We had regular Cat5 cable running from our router in an office outside to the house. It was often getting cracked from exposure and bending. This replacement was perfect and has held up beautifully in the cold and heat. The length makes it easy to use. Our connection never drops now, like it did before with the cracked cable. Highly recommended.

My sister got a work from home job that required a direct connection to the router. Ugh... Router is in the front of the house she is in the back...lol this was the solution. We decided on the heavy duty to prevent any pinching that might accidently occur. She did mention that her dog got tangled in the wire one day and the end pulled from it, but it still works? So my only complaint is that the ends are not very secure. It was a small dog.

I used this to run about 300’ to my gate for a security camera. The cable itself is definitely heavy duty, and should withstand the elements for a LONG time. It has a double wall, with a plastic 4 groove divider in the center to keep the he pairs insulated from one another, as well as give the assembly strength. The plugs, covers, and tools worked perfectly. The tester worked flawlessly, and was a great addition. I plugged the “master” into the end in my home, and the “remote” into the end at my gate, and it showed all connections were good. I suspect this that have had issues with the tester, maybe don’t understand how it works, as the instructions aren’t very clear. However, a Google search brings up several articles on how to properly utilize it. My only wish, is that the actual conductors were a slightly larger gauge, as there is definitely signal degradation with longer runs, and a larger conductor would help minimize that loss. I had to run a higher voltage than normal Poe injector, to be able to get proper voltage to my system, due to voltage drop. It still works well, and the bandwidth is definitely more than enough for my needs. Overall, it his is a great value, and includes enough supplies, that I will likely never have to purchase another Ethernet cable again, since I have plenty of plugs and cable leftover, to make my own.

Don’t think I’ll need to buy anymore Ethernet cable for a while.The strain relievers are a bit cheap, but the Ethernet cable itself is top notch

Durable and holds up outdoors, even in extreme weather situations. Has been out through a Vermont winter - come of the cable exposed - and it’s done just fine. Delivers steady data to a very remote WiFi extender for our property.
