The adult version says you can apply to dry hair-- but this product says to apply to wet hair. Does it matter if wet or dry?

You can apply it to wet or dry hair on AquaGuard for Kids just like the adult version.

would this still work if applied 1-2 hours before swimming?

Im sure it would, it's an excellent product. I was surprised at how well it works. I bought it for my daughter, but I use it as well now. The only issue is that you need to wet your hair to apply it, otherwise, I would not think that applying it earlier is an issue.

What are difference in ingredients between the kids and the regular one?

I have no idea. I use the kids' version since I bought it for my daughter and it works very well.

Does the kids version contain fragrance also?

A slight fragrance smells more like a lightly scented conditioner
