The paintwork is a beautiful, deep blue colour that really catches the eye and makes the bass look much more expensive thanit actually is. The PJ pickup configuration is a standout feature. It's the best of both worlds, giving you the fat, punchy tone from the split-coil P-Bass pickup and the brighter, more articulate sound from the single-coil J-Bass pickup. This makes it really versatile for different styles of music. It also has a nice thin, lightweight body, which is a big plus as it's really comfortable to play for long periods. Of course, to keep the price down, there are some compromises. The Squire basses are generally made in Asia, and they use more affordable components compared to their more expensive Fender cousins. The hardware and pickups are decent for a beginner, but you might find yourself wanting to upgrade them down the line as your skills improve. Great instrument with no sharp frets or any problems. I've found it good enough with just tuning it straight out of the box. Easy to upgrade the parts as well if you're inclined to do that. But for the price, it's a great instrument. Especially for a beginner or even if you're a more advanced player

Looks good and sounds ok but the jazz pickup makes funny noises. It has had a few problems like the volume knob falling off and the neck feels quite cheap. It’s great for a first bass and would recommend for a beginner.

Great bass well balanced and has a good action.

Lovely guitar & quality built. Could do with shielding pickups though as one of them you get a bit of feedback Jim when you take your hands off the strings. Overall pleased though

Es muy cómodo, tengo un jazz bass y puedo decir que son igual de comodos. Tiene buena calidad de sonido aunque la pastilla del puente tiene menos volumen. Los acabados son buenos aunque el brazo se siente un poco rugoso.

La pastilla “P” suena muy bien, se nota una buena calidad del bajo, y el color azul es muy agradable a la vista
