This is an amazing thermos! We used it last night to bring hot cocoa with us while driving around looking at Christmas lights. It kept the cocoa warm and was easy to pour on the go! Of course, my teen son dropped it on the oavement when we were pilong out of the car afterward. No damage at all! Did not break.

Pros: looks nice. Good size.Cons:1. Doesn't keep anything warm for longer than a couple of hours2. When pouring, liquids run literally through the lid. when tilting the can more it runs through the button onto your hands. Thankfully the coffee is no longer hot by then, so chances are you only burn your hands right after brewing the coffee3. said stupid design leads to coffee being inside the lid which is difficult to clean. You have to run water through the lid until you get everything out.

The only thing I don't like about it is that I bought it in order to have hot coffee throughout the day, but the heat comes through the carafe with the result that the coffee cools down faster than I expected. I had to buy another thermal coffee carafe and donate this one. The carafe would be fine for people who want to use the coffee or other hot contents during a meal, for example, when the hot contents are consumed within an hour or two.

Despite its compact size it works well. It keep both my hot tea and cold water at stable temperatures for at least four hours. Its sturdy and sleek with a nice appearance. I would definitely recommend to others.

Bought this for hot chocolate and tea. It didn't keep the liquid hot for even a couple of hours. Also came with a rust spot on the "stainless steel" exterior. I would have returned it, but i already threw away the box. At least it didn't cost to much.

Poorly made but nice looking. I chose this product based on the description and reviews. The size and price were what I wanted but I feel the carafe does not live up to its purpose. That is, keeping liquids hot or cold. I tested it a few times and found the silicon seals allow a leak. When I inspected the seals I found they sit on a molded plastic surface. The surface is not flat and there was plastic "flashing" that protruded into the seal. At any rate a leak not only allows liquid out but allows air in which reduces its ability to keep things hot.Update 12/31/16 - What a mistake! After using this carafe I found that it does NOT keep liquids hot for up to 24 hours, try 2 hours!

Does not keep hot liquids hot more than 2 hours. I was really disappointed when I put freshly made hot coffee in the thermos in the morning and came home less than 10 hours later and it was cold.Tried several times but same result. Would not recommend.

Only keeps coffee hot to warm for about 4 hours. I think the carafe itself is solid, I think the problem is with the lid or seals on the lid.
