Good price, good wicking. No complaints about this product at all.

Add a little flux, it absorbs solder like a sponge. Very helpful cleaning up old stuff, or new mistakes.

Using this solder remover is somewhat hard, it could be due to inexperience but my experience was hit or miss. When the heat was at my normal soldering temperature it would only pick up a little bit of solder. When I turned up the heat it worked a little too well and would end up stuck. I was able to get it to work best by using the regular temperature and poking my iron through the wick and heating the solder directly which would then be picked up by the wick.

I was surprised to find that the wick actually removed the solder better than my vacuum solder sucker. It left a neatly tinned surface that accepted new solder well. It also makes a nice ground wire where insulation isn't needed.

Its a good product. It works very well

Nothing fancy, just a good cheap solder wick to get the job done.

This probably works well for the tiny little holes on printed circuit boards, but I work on electric guitar components, not PC boards. Not suitable for removing anything more than just a stray dab of solder.
