Fixed the error!!-Update: Doesn't last long though
UPDATE: This device lasted just over 3 months, I just got the same error again and have to purchase another one and replace it...AGAIN. Yesterday morning I got an alarm from my Hayward omnilogic "no water flow timeout flowsensor". My system is almost brand new, this is only our second season. 1st season with the swg hooked up. After much research this no flow issue causes the pump and swg to automatically shutdown after 15 mins as a safeguard. Just to save you time, there is no way to bypass it. The bad flow switch tells the unit there is no water flow when in fact the flow is fine. Apparently this is a common issue with these hayward flow switches. They go bad and one little switch can essentially shut down your system until its replaced. So I ordered this product, removed the old one and installed it. Worked perfectly and we are back up and running! No thanks to the wonderful Hayward products, this isn't the 1st issue I've had with them. Not very impressed with them as a whole but I'm stuck with them now. Easy install if you are handy/technically inclined. If not have your pool guy or someone capable do it.

Works as advertised.
Works as advertised. Just install it correctly with the flow arrow going with the flow of the water. Solved my no flow errors.

Quick and Easy install, replacing every year
For the cost I guess what should I expect?! Quick and easy install, has an arrow on top for flow direction. I have purchased a number of these and have to replace them every year, they just all of a sudden stop detecting flow. Replace it in 10 minutes and good for another year or so. Do recommend keeping the wire off the ground, have some animals that seem to like to chew through the wire.

Easy install
I got this as my display was showing no flow and as it turns out the problem was with the board itself and not the flow sensor. However, I ended up using this and the size is just like the original one I was trying to replace. The build material seems decent, and the price was reasonable, compared to competition.

Great price and fast delivery
My Aquarite started acting up after a pump replacement. The new pump is slightly more powerful so I assume the flow rate is greater. Just about that time my Aquarite lights started acting odd on startup. Just as the new pump and system started up each day Iโd get a solid no flow light (not blinking). That would turn to 4 red blinking lights (lower set) in a few seconds. No amount of research on the system - including online and talking to Hayward pointed to what that could be. These were not the specific symptoms of a bad flow switch - not exactly anyway. I assumed my board was going bad on the Aquarite. But I was able to get it working by following a specific startup sequence - turn off the chlorine generation first - then start the pump - and then slide the chlorine gen on. Doing this sequence the lights were normal and I was generating again! So for 20 bucks I was willing to gamble on this switch - especially knowing the flow rate had increased recently and the current switch was around 20 years old. Maybe the stress of the extra flow was too much for the old switch? Or it was old and just was worn out? Anyway - this was a quick repair and so far so good. I really need a few days to assess if the issue is truly resolved however. If it is - this part saved me 2k which is what I was about to spend for a whole new unit. Time is not on my side since my Aquarite unit is old but Iโll take more time if I can get it! Also - if your Aquarite and pump are not wired to the timer to come on and off at the same time - thatโs a risk! In other words if you rely on this switch to turn off the cell when the water isnโt flowing - change it! I see people blaming the flow switch for their cell burning up because the switch stuck in a closed position but really that shouldnโt matter if your pump/cell wiring was done right.

Do not buy. Stuck in flow after pump is off
Bought this hoping to correct my no flow issue. Instead I received a warning that my cell was too hot. Turns out the flow switch didnโt turn off my salt cell. Instead kept in running 2 nights in a row while the pump was off. Checked panel and flow was on while pump was off. Hydrogen gas throughout system bubbling in pool. Lucky it didnโt blow up! Do not buy.

It works with Hayward salt system
I just got my sensor today. I'd to replace existing one because I was getting a short circuit on it, ie it was always showing there is a flow of water even when my pump was switched off, I replaced the salt cell after only 3 seasons of use because I got both check salt and check cell lights on all time and no salt reading at all a week a go and then I noticed that the no flow light is always off even when there is no flow and I believe that this was main reason why my salt cell went bad as it was generating all the time even when there was no flow. Today I just replaced the sensor flow with this one and I tested the switch before putting it through the pipe that it works by manually switching it on and off , then I added it inside the pipe but couldn't get it to turn off until I removed the o-ring around it so it is fully fitted in. So far it seems to work. It is a little bit different than the one I originally got as it is all plastic but if that works I'm fine

Better than the original
This took minutes to install and worked flawlessly ... The design seems more advanced then the OEM and now that โ no flow โ light isn't flashing. The salt generator works perfectly again.

Works better than the original
I was very skeptic about this part as every pool service center I went to were advising me not to purchase after market pieces for my salt system. This part from Hayward is like 300 taxes in CAD. Thatโs absurd. Then a client at one of the pool centers said that maybe I should try Amazon. And so I did. This part is a game changer and it works even better than the original. It reads my salt system better that the Hayward. The part came on time and more importantly the supplier reached to me and advised me that my part was on its way and if I had an issues to call them directly. The level of service was super. I highly recommend anyone who needs to replace your pool parts to contact this supplier. A++
