Best tongue brush I've tried. No toothbrush can compete & scrapers are too rough/painful. The Original TUNG brush is terrific at removing gross bacteria, gunk, post nasal drip, & discoloration. If I don't use it for awhile, I am acutely aware of icky tastes left behind.I only got a tiny sample of the TUNG paste, but recall it being better than regular toothpaste (although use it if you don't have TUNG brand paste).Personally, I mix some mouthwash with a hint (no more than 1/4 cap peroxide) swish in mouth leaving plenty on tongue to soak the TUNG brush & moving front to back motions most effective at pulling up & removing all gunk. Rinse brush in HOT water 2-3x during to remove everything. Finally, I wash brush with hot soapy water before storing. Also, I learned the hard way, be gentle as the specially designed stiff tight short bristles could cause bleeding if too vigorous. Remember, it's not a toothbrush, thus requires far less pressure & you'll be good. Your tongue, taste buds, & breath will thank you!I've luckily NEVER suffered halitosis, but now that I've had the TUNG brush & taste the difference, I'd never go without it!

I've had issues with my tongue for a long time. My taste buds and papillae tend to grow longer than normal, allowing bacteria to hide and grow, and causing bad breath. Normal toothbrushes are inadequate to properly clean my tongue, as they cannot reach as far back as I need. Regular tongue scrapers also do not seem to do much for me. So, when I first saw the Tung Brush and Tung Gel here on Amazon, I was a bit skeptical. But not for long! After trying this for a few days, I realized this thing works amazingly well. The brush is the perfect size and shape to reach toward the back of the tongue without gagging. The gel rinses off the tongue really well - better than normal toothpaste - and cleans well. After a couple of weeks using the brush and gel, my tongue was looking better than ever, and my breath seemed fresher and cleaner (at least according to my wife and children). Added to normal tooth brushing and flossing, it will go a long way to improving oral health - that has been my case for sure. Highly recommended!

Bought this brush and Dr. Tung's Products: Stainless Steel Tongue Cleaner to try them against each other and against a regular toothbrush. I tried cleaning my tongue 2-3x a day, alternating between each method, for a couple of weeks. Nothing too terribly scientific.Regular Toothbrush: Okay. Been using it for years, no complaints.Tongue Cleaner: Okay seems to do about the same job as the regular toothbrush. Only drawbacks - have to rinse the gross gunk off of the blade after each use and find a place to store it in an already overcrowded sink area.Tongue Brush: Wowwy, wow, wow, wow. This thing really gets your tongue clean!** Even "Ol' Dragon Breath", A.K.A. my SO (Significant Other), has reasonable breath after using this brush. Definite difference between this and a regular toothbrush. The Tongue Brush gets into all the nooks and crannies between the buds, making your mouth feel FRESH after a brush. Rinses easily. Stores easily. Love it so much I bought 4 Pack - TUNG Brush - Tongue Cleaner for use elsewhere (cottage, Disney Owner's Lockers, travel, etc.)**I also experienced a slight amount of bleeding after each of the first few uses. I was a bit surprised, because up until the Tongue Brush, I had already been using a plain ol' toothbrush on my tongue regularly. No biggie. Didn't hurt, just unsettling.

It is a ok tongue brush have to really brush softly because it can make your tongue bleed if not the brush is a little hard for the tongue they should make them a little softer for the tongue

I have had bad breath for a long period of my life. It always makes me self-conscious when I talk to other people. To the point where I check my breath constantly every day. I have tried so many products that I will give you a reference on what I've tried.OraBrushTherabreath gel, toothpaste, mints, and tongue scraperMANY MANY mouthwashesAnd to be honest, while the therabreath provided a decent solution for my mouth, I felt that my mouth was still a little bit.. off.I recently got the TUNG gel and brush and after that first time I used it, I was amazed. My tongue was always very white with all the bacteria, not only was it making my mouth smell horrible, it was just unpleasant to look at each morning. After trying out this brush (with the gel), my mouth was closer to its natural pink form than anything else I've used in the past. I could really feel the brush performing well at cleaning the surface of my tongue. Felt extremely refreshed after its use. Granted, my tongue did bleed, but my tongue is fairly sensitive and has bled in the past with other products. I think it's nothing a little technique adjustment + time won't solve. Try employing less of a scrubbing action when you use this brush because it's quite aggressive. I definitely highly recommend this product.

Best addition to my morning and night oral health routine! My bf used to joke about my morning breath so I became self concious about my oral hygiene. I noticed my tongue was never really pink and clean no matter how many times I tried cleaning it with a toungue scraper. Once I started incorporating the TUNG brush and gel, I noticed a HUGE improvement in the appearance of my tongue. I use this in conjunction with Dr. Tung's Tongue Cleaner, Stainless Steel (colors may vary); first I squeeze a pea sized amount of the Tung gel onto the brush and gently clean my tongue. Be careful not to brush too vigorously as you may end up cutting your tongue. I then scrape off the gel with Dr. Tung's Tongue Cleaner. I've found this two-step process to be the most effective way to clean my tongue. I no longer have bad breath even morning breath is now rare--it's great!

Been using this brush and the gel for at least 12 years and I have zero bad breath issues.When you first use it, it will irritate your tongue and you might even lose some taste for a better part of they day. It's not bad or anything, it's just your tongue getting used to it. I use it every other day and I have no irritation. They key is to use it with front to back strokes and NOT circular strokes as their is no added benefit scrubbing your tongue. All you want to do get that film off the top and you can do that with about five seconds worth of front to back motion. Also, use a pea-sized amount of the gel; don't skimp on that.As far as how long to use it, I personally don't think you need to swap these out every three months or so. Just use your judgment on the sanitary condition of the brush and the environment. I've been using the same brush for about a year now and it still looks like new.One piece of advice I do want to share with you is that diet is a huge component of bad breath/morning breath and overall mouth freshness. When I stick to my low-carb, high protein clean diet, you can tell the difference with how your mouth feels in the morning compared to a night of eating pepperoni pizza and coke. So ideally, use the TUNG brush and gel and also make sure your diet is good. With both of those things, I think you will see the best results.

I've tried various tongue cleaners - those round plastic ones, this flat plastic one that came with my toothbrush, those handled ones with the rounded metal you can bend...a spoon! Yeah they all clean. Kind of.Then you try this Tung brush. You'd think your toothbrush would do the job just as well but no. This brush has extremely short bristles which don't "bend" or move like your regular toothbrush. It's rough on the tongue but not harsh. It feels great and is fun to use all over the tongue and even on the sides.The only small area I can't get to is the gag reflex area (I can't do that with those metal cleaner options either) and I either leave it, or once in awhile get bold and go back there but I always gag. :DOpen this package. Immediately throw out the gel sample (it contains titanium dioxide and saccharine - both of which are cancer causing agents!). Wet the brush and give your tongue a good brushing. My tongue never felt this invigorated!I have been using this cleaner with Dr. Christopher's herbal tooth powder, which leaves me feeling like I just had my teeth cleaned at the dentist. After using the powder for my teeth with my regular toothbrush, I then dip this brush (after wetting) into the remainder of the toothpowder (in my hand) and go to it on the tongue. It's a very fresh and clean mouth feeling.

Hatte nach Corona nicht wieder den guten Geschmack wie vorher, hab mir dann das Gel und die Bürste gekauft und nach 3 Wochen dacht ich der Geschmack wird weniger und habe aufgehört. Nach ca, 5 Tagen schmeckte ich wieder besser und heute nach ca. 1 Monat nachdem ich aufgehört habe schmecke ich besser als zuvor. Keine Ahnung warum aber ich denke das Lag an der Bürste und dem Gel

Lo compre porque no puedo utilizar los típicos raspadores de lengua, por que me hacen daño y heridas en la lengua, quería algo suave como un cepillo.A mi no me ha funcionado, hay dos cosas que no me gustan:1- Es muy duro y hace heridas.2- La forma no es muy ergonómica, porque la estirar la lengua, esta hace como un valle con dos montículos a los lados y el cepillo no puede limpiar la zona central que queda algo hundida.Al final, sigo utilizando un cepillo normal suave para limpiar la lengua.
