Are these any good in high humidity regions?

These are designed for practice, considering they usually break apart on impact. There's no since harming an animal if it doesn't kill the animal. Instead, order steel ball bearings for hunting game (since they don't break apart upon impact).

What are these made of? The ones I received are attracted to a magnet so there must be a significant amount of iron in them.

The ones I received are made of clay. Non-magnetic. Fairly substantial for slingshot use, but will crush if you step on them. They are coated with something brown - maybe paint.
