This is an update…..you grind them down to the pitch and tone based on your location (Cross Coupling). They don’t take much maybe a mm. My apologies for the negative review.

I am an audio engineer and sound healer with a degree from the conservatory recording arts and sciences. When tested on my spectral analyzer, the frequencies that are printed on the sides of these tuning forks are not even remotely accurate. Some frequencies are off by as much as 3000 Hz! This is quite terrifying and gives a bad name to anyone who uses them, and the entire community of healers in general. The people who are making this product should be ashamed of themselves. The buyers take this very seriously and Are trying to heal people. Shame on you for selling totally fake products to those who desire to heal others!!! Check out the screenshots from my spectral analyzer (which is accurate within .0001hz). The two screenshots were from 2048Hz and 4096Hz turning forks. Not even close. In our world, these need to be tuned precisely to the exact frequency while number to be effective on our patients. What a scam. It is said that “high quality instruments aren’t cheap. Cheap instruments aren’t high quality.” I could take out my angle grinder or a Dremel and start trying to turn these myself (the more mass you remove by cutting and sanding them, the higher the pitch) but that would first of all only work on those whose frequencies are too low, as shaving off metal raises the pitch and secondly, this would not work because it is a total waste of my time to fix a broken product. I’m flabbergasted they’re getting away with this. Look closely at the pics, the fork ends are wavy (not straight) and cut very poorly too. Hoping they abandon scamming people altogether. I knew the price was too good to be true. Returned!

Well, my tuning fork looks like it's been run over by 400 trucks, but after a "machining" on the weights, it rings at a perfect C#. Who knows? Maybe this will be my most LOVED tuning fork!

The tone is perfect while the quality is excellent medical grade and works well both indoors and out, on the field or in an office, locker room, or on the ride home from a long, challenging practice. Fits well in a backpack, gym bag, or trainer's bag. Easy for anyone to use, just with it came with a protective carry bag and a strike puck. A great tool that is easy for any athlete, coach, parent, or trainer to use just about anywhere.

Unfortunately after several months of using this, I was schooled by a neuromuscular neurologist and learned that it is *not* 128 hz like it says it is. Frequency was noticably too high resulting in inaccurate assessment of vibratory sense.

The product made in Pakistan, i expected better quality, unfortunately the quality for not medical students and not for teaching...
