This detector works very well, build quality is nice as well, and haven't had any problems with leakage.All in all I'm happy with the product for the price range.

Is this only for freshwater or is it for saltwater too?

I used it in salt water and it did just fine. When ever you get home just rinse it off. I’ve never seen rust on mine
