Portable Monitor 15.6" 1080P FHD External Portable Laptop Monitor K3-1

I work remotely from home and needed to be able to work from the UK. I am not highly tech savvy but I was able to connect my laptop with two of these external monitors. All the cords were included and the directions were excellent. The only issues I had was numbering the displays within windows but that was only because I didnt quite know what configuration would work best for me at the onset. And setting up the hub was a little confusing to me but I figured it out.The monitors are unbelievably light and the magnetic cover works perfectly and functions well as the advertised stand(s). They fit perfectly into my laptop backpack and I got through security fine (had to take everything out in Paris/CDG airport but no problem. Screen display/quality is great (I have to view X-rays all day) Great purchase!

Like everyone else who works remotely at times, I end up with countless windows open and find it difficult to do my work on one small 14" laptop screen (not to mention aging and my eyes). I got this because I was traveling and didn't want to take the whole week for vacation. I got EXACTLY what I wanted out of this product. Let me cover the good and the things you should know. All the cords you need to hook this monitor up come with it. I would love to connect it to my computer via USB4 port, but my I use my USB4 port to charge my computer when I travel because the charger is so light and small. So I fell back on the HDMI cord. Came in the package. Boom! Power supply was also included. I connected mine to my computer's USB 3.0 port and ran the USB-C cable into the monitor. Power on! Lots bad has been said about the case. I found it very functional. It may not have your ideal viewing angle, but it worked fine for me using the case. It wouldn't fail to capsize in the event of a 7.0 earthquake, but it worked fine in my week-long use. So what do I not like? Well, the monitor is not a high-end one with mind-numbing resolution and clarity. It's good. Plenty good for work on websites, documents, spreadsheets and the like, but if I were a traveling videographer or photographer, I'd want something more high end. For me? Worked fine. So for the price I paid, I can't be more satisfied. Sure, I'd love one that was larger, but this one fits in my laptop bag no problem. I'd love one with a built-in battery so I wouldn't have to plug in the bulky HDMI cord. I'd love a better case/stand. But really, this is a solid device, and if you shop for bargains, you're going to have to accept some compromises. With that in mind, I can wholeheartedly recommend this monitor to anyone needing some visual real estate for work, especially while traveling. It's thin, light, functional and it won't break the bank. That's a lot of winning for such a small screen.

Using it currently as an economical 2nd screen for my laptop while having perfect portability. Thin as anything, which is scary to travel with, but it sits right in there with my laptop in my bookbag. This monitor comes with everything you need to connect, in whatever way you need it to. I've used it as a karaoke screen for my party, which worked fantastically, for the singer to have popup lyrics. I've also used it to display my phone screen so that I can use my S-pen (samsung) PEN-UP app for drawing, so I can draw in tiny details (I just need to practice better hand-eye coordination... not the fault of the monitor - that's definitely user error!) I had intended to use it as a display screen for work at my desk facing outward for information to my students, but I didn't get that far... still an idea for others to use. Colors are beautiful. Don't bother with the sound speaker, there's plenty of things to use than that little tinny speaker there, but it's there if you want it. After nearly 2 years of owning this thing, I'm still very happy with what this screen is; a versatile monitor rendering crisp images and beautiful colors that I've found many uses for, and will probably discover more in the future, I'm sure!

I've only had my new portable monitor for a few days, but so far I'm extremely pleased with the device. It is exactly what I was hoping for. It is an extended display for my Windows 11 Dell laptop that only requires one cable (USB C for signal and power). The picture quality is as good as my laptop. The brightness is as good as my laptop. The colors are certainly satisfactory, but I'm an "business user", so I can't speak to the color quality for graphic design and photo editing. My only minor complaint is that case/stand. As a case, it is OK, but certainly doesn't provide any drop protection. All it is protecting against is scratches and dents while it's in my laptop bag. Is that so bad, however? Because my laptop doesn't have any drop protection when it is out of the bag either. The case doubles as the stand and it is OK at best. It does hold up the monitor, using magnets and friction, but it would take much of a bump to send it flying or falling. Reading the instructions is helpful, as many people probably don't realize the bottom flap flips over for extra holding power. The weird thing is that it seems the magnet has reverse polarity from what it should. The top of the back of the case, if aligned with the top of the back of the monitor, actually repels instead of attracts. It still seems to work ok, but I do flip the screen around backward when I put it away, otherwise the case would be held about 1/2" from the screen due to magnet forces, instead of pulling tight. I think almost all of these monitors (other brands as well) have a bunch of negative reviews from people who didn't understand what they were doing. Many of them don't have a fully featured USB C cable capable of providing power and picture on a single cable. These folks will need two cables, one for HDMI and one for power. The monitor does come with both cables, just in case. I get the impression everyone expected single-cable operation, despite not knowing what their device (laptop, phone, etc.) would support. Some people even complained that a special cable was required for using it with an IPad or iPhone. Understand, this isn't the monitor manufacturer's fault. It is the device manufacturer... or the user knowledge. Furthermore, USB-C just doesn't have very clear designations and specifications for everyday users. Lastly, some bad reviews are from people who purchased this for use sitting at their desk. Know what you're buying! There are better and cheaper options if all someone wants to do is use this at their desk. This is a great option for portability, but not what you'd choose to buy if it is always going to sit on your desk and never move.

I thought I'd take a chance on this LCD monitor given it's unusually low price of $79.99 on Amazon, and the additional $14.99 off coupon. (So, $65, total price plus tax!) This monitor easily connected to my laptop with USB C audio/video cable. Right out of the box, this monitor displayed crisp resolution, excellent contrast, bright colors, and no stuck or dead pixels. Also, unlike my old (and smaller and much more expensive) accessory monitor, this monitor comes complete with all of the cables you will need, including an HDMI cable, HDMI to mini-HDMI cable, and an audio/video USB C cable, among other accessories. A very nice magnetic rubberized monitor stand is also included. I was so blown away by the quality and features of this monitor at such an incredibly low price point that I bought a second one, and installed it on my elliptical machine along with an Amazon 4K Fire Stick (see attached photo). After tweaking the monitor settings a bit, I now have an HDTV, and all of my favorite video streaming services, on my elliptical to help distract me from my heavy workouts! The displayed video is smooth, and the image quality is crisp and very natural. While this monitor cannot compete with the large format $6,000 Sony Brava HDTV in my living room (of course), the quality and features of this LCD monitor would still represent an excellent value at twice the cost that I paid for it!

I rarely ever give anything 5 starts but this is one product that truly deserves it. I researched second screens for my laptop for months before I came across this product. I travel a lot for work and really needed to have a second screen to travel with me. All the other products out there were expensive, had lots of cords, and/or attached to your laptop and were heavy. All the things I did not want. I was skeptical about this product because it was so inexpensive but it is an amazing product for its value. It was so easy to use and to set up. All I had to do was take it out of the box, plug the cord into the monitor and then into my Mac book. That is it! It it light weight and come with a very nice cover case that also serves as a stand and you can set next to your laptop not on it. The quality of the screen is great you just need to do some minor adjustments. I have already recommended this product to many of my professional friends who also travel and they have also been impressed with this product. The monitor is powered through you laptop so watch your power level. Highly recommend.

This screen is perfect - I never even knew they existed! I like to use my laptop from my recliner, and sometimes need the two screens, this is perfect to get out as I need it depending on what I'm doing without getting a full monitor set up and having cords all over. Great quality on images as well. I would love a stand that raises it up a bit, but that's not a big deal to find if I truly want one.

It was great while it lasted. No complaints before it stopped working, connected to my laptop with ease and helped with productivity. Purchased in 2022. About 4 weeks ago in February 2026, I plugged in my laptop like usual, looked like it was connecting, but said there was no signal and it was powering down. I connect my laptop to this monitor and a second one when I connect to this monitor, the second monitor fills the entire screen, when I unplug from this model of monitor my second monitor does not fill up the whole screen so that way, I know whether this monitor is plugged in or not Even though this monitor says that there’s no signal my second monitor is still on the full screen and I can even move documents over to the first monitor so this monitor acts like it’s working, but I’m not seeing anything on screen. I tried a different power cord that didn’t work. I went back to my power cord that came with this monitor. The screen worked for about five hours one day and that was it for the past four weeks.

This was purchased for my daughter but I can't comment on this monitor, when my daughter unpacked it she found that the screen was cracked.
