Great security lock with easy convenience
This is a very great product if you're looking for convenience. I personally have too many keys on me, which is why I really like the electronic lock. The app is very easy to use as well. I also never have to worry about keeping track of small keys that come with other locks. The lock itself is small yet secure and well built, which actually turned out perfect for the lockers we use at work. Charging the lock is also easy since it uses the standard micro USB charger. Again, this product is all about convenience. I have been able to enjoy hassle-free security for my personal belongings. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have less weight on their key ring and have easy access to safely secured belongings.

Major flaws... Unstable connection, unstable locking, pointless locating feature...
So a few problems since day 1. Getting the lock to re-lock after opening is a nightmare. Definitely not something someone would be comfortable just slapping the lock on and walking away like most locks. I have yet to get the lock to re-lock just from the app. Only when I press the button on the side again to get the double beep, and even then it only actually locks about 10-20% of the time, other times by just a slight jiggle of the slide and it will open right up. Ability to secure items reminds me of the old gold locks that I remeber my sister having on her diary growing up. The other pointless feature is the Bluetooth locator. So you need to press the physical button on the lock in order to select the lock in the app. Then you are able to locate the lock. Why do you need to locate it if you just pressed the button? There's no way to remotely trigger this feature which is ridiculous. Even if you wanted to leave the power on to stay connected the max timeout is 15 min, which makes it pointless for flights and locating luggage, which I assume most people are looking for being a "TSA" lock. The "range" option is the distance from my hand holding the lock and my phone 100% of the time. And good luck if you misplace you nfc tag. Went to show how the lock works to a friend on the first day, by attaching it to his car keys... and the tag ended fell between the couch seats which nobody couldn't find. After searching for 5-10 mins, had decided to just use the phone unlock option. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't stay powered on long enough to connect to phone after pressing button. Had to bring out a power bank to connect to it just to open it back up even though the batteries were fully charged. The whole process ended up taking like 15 mins just to get the lock back off my friends car keys. Major fail.

No Support
Lock does work well with phone and the included nfc tag, but it will not work with my watch. Got the app on watch and it registers lock, but will not connect. Contacted support and got no response.

Lock Works Well
I have been using combination luggage locks, but decided to try this electronics lock after hearing it from friend. As the reviews posted by others are a mix of positives and negatives, I thought I would better thoroughly tested it before using for actual travel. Now, after a week of testing, I decided it will replace my old lock for this coming Friday's trip. Basically the system is simple to use and works well. On my iPhone 7+, the installation was smooth and stable. I have also installed on my wife's Galaxy Note5 (Android 7.0), but the app hang after first installation. After deleting and reinstalling the app, no problem after. So I tried another Android phone (my backup phone but also Android 7.0) but no problem on this one. After a week of lock/unlock testing with the lock and 3 phones, my conclusion is that the lock and iPhone app are very stable, while the Android app will occasionally not able to detect the lock and will wait for a long time at the "Press Power-On button on eGeeTouch... Please wait..." pop-up message. What I will do on such occasions is that if it does not detect after 2 or 3 seconds after pressing the Power-On button, just kill the app (press the left button to list the running apps and swipes to remove the app) and run the app again. Since this is easy to do and it always connect when kill/re-run, it does not quite bother me. So I am happy with this new gadget.

Good idea
I can't get the lock to unlock on the app right away some times I need to power it on a few times to get it to open, is this normal?

This lock is garbage
This lock is total garbage. I want a lock that doesn't need an account. Doesn't need to be connected all the time. AND ACTUALLY LOCKS!!!! The app says locked, but the lock is definitely not locked. 0/5 stars. I'm going to smash it with a hammer.

They worked great. I put the smart tags on a key ...
I have three of these, and recently used all three on a trip to Korea and Japan - one on my rolling bag, and two on my backpack (files in one compartment, PC/tablet in another, hence the need for two locks). They worked great. I put the smart tags on a key chain, and just kept it with me. I didn't use the app on my phone very often. It took me just a little bit to get the hang of the timing for a) a short or long press on the button to enable either Bluetooth or NFC on the lock, and b) how long to hold the smart tag near the lock to be read and unlock it. Once I got the hang, it works like a charm. It can be just a bit confusing using three locks - there's no way to tell which smart tag goes with which lock until you try them. There's a certain small degree of increased security with that, I guess, but it does make the unlocking process take a few seconds longer. I will probably find a way to mark the locks and smart tags so I can tell which tag goes with which lock (something less obvious than just marking both the lock and the smart tag #1, #2, or #3).

I had battery issues
I ordered two for a recent trip to China. I ordered close to our departure and when one of them arrived the batteries were dead and I didn't have time to get new ones. For the one that worked, I fidgeted with the settings, disabled auto shut-off and the result was that the batteries in that one also went dead overnight. The iphone interface doesn't really explain the features and the literature is bare-bones so it will take most users some trial and error to get comfortable with it. If you decide to purchase I recommend ordering A76 batteries as you may find you need them much sooner than anticipated. One decent feature is that with a micro-usb power source you can operate the lock so if you travel with a backup battery (I haven't tried this, only with a computer) I suspect you can unlock it if something goes wrong and a battery dies in transit. Because one of the two arrived new from the seller with dead batteries (not sure how this could happen when there was plastic film over them) you really should anticipate battery issues when you travel. Otherwise the phone and watch interfaces seemed to work well, although I'm not sure the watch will work without the phone application being opened first. I'm going to play with this some more. At the end of the day I would not recommend. There are decent combination TSA locks that are far more reliable and easy to use and the additional features of this lock may cause battery drain or other issues that complicate rather than make your travel easy.
