Perfect for tight fit. My case was an over/under apartment style unit, and installer just bent the corrugated metal vent tube and left a dust trapping kink. This unit fixed the problem and actually had some helpful instructions for various applications. Be sure to have some metallic duct tape on hand to seal and secure it.

This is the best elbow I found and it works for more than just Whirlpool. I had to return it due to other limitation in my setup, but would definitely recommend it if you needed a smooth elbow in your dryer ductwork.

I used this aluminum dryer vent elbow for a dryer in a small laundry room to get the dryer tighter to the wall. It worked well for me and the final venting was more compact and cleaner than what was there. Ease of installation is dependent on the location and the space in the room you have to work on it. In my case this vent elbow fit the vertical vent pipe it connected to as it should, so I din't have to struggle in tight quarters to install and secure it. As for value for the money, I paid what I would expect to pay for an aluminum vent elbow at a big box home improvement store, so I would say it's fairly priced. As for sturdiness, this is an elbow made of aluminum, so it is not as durable against crushing or denting as a steel elbow would be. It is sturdy enough for what it is designed for if even minimal care is taken installing it and pushing the dryer back against the wall. I would buy it again.

Quick and easy installation, coupled with the Mopha dryer vent hose, 3 feet. Originally purchaed thin gauge swivel attachments and aluminum felx hose from bog box store to relocate dryer. Aluminum was to thin, couldnt tighten for a secure fit. Order 2 of the Whirlpool oem vent elbow connectors, with the Mopha dryer vent hose. Installation was quick and easy, assembling the Elbows first to the hose made project easy. Vent elbows do swivel for exact fitment and stability.

We have a shallow washer/dryer nook and when we replaced our appliances we needed to save every inch, these fittings did that for us. These fittings are made of aluminum and are as sturdy as adjustable aluminum 90's. They rotate along their collars, allowing better fitment. Although, I found the collars to be shorter than ideal and I found recrimping the male collar to be helpful. I used aluminum foil tape and a couple band clamps to secure the connection joints. When it was all assembled it felt secure. The space savings of these fittings compared to adjustable 90's is only about 1.5 to 2". But that little bit allowed us to setback our GE Profile dryer to within 3.5" of the wall. Overall, these fittings helped us solve our space issue and we are happy with our purchase...

Works as intended so far, was a bit hard to fit the semi-ridgid duct from home depot to this fitting, but its been working good so far. Pretty happy with the form factor so far.
