Works super well for German shepherd - very smooth and gentle yet effective

This brush is amazing. It got through the undercoat and helped detangle some mild mats that were in my new dog's fur. I like the spiral flex which contoured to her body and she was comfortable the whole time. This also made it easy to get the fur out of the brush. Her coat was very shiny and soft afterward.

This brush works well for when I use the velocity dryer on my standard poodle after a bath. It's not for working out mats, it's for hair that's already reasonably brushed out. It's good for pulling the hair straight when drying with a blower. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday maintenance, unless the hair is very short perhaps. This brush is not going work like a slicker brush to detangle. But it's design is ideal for letting air through with the dryer and the bristles are bendy enough to pull the hair straight without causing the dog discomfort. I don't use it all the time but it's the right tool for a specific task and gets results.

Works quite well for my boy. A lot of brushes seem to be painful or uncomfortable for him. But this one has both worked quite well and not caused him discomfort and pain while grooming. He is a mixed breed with a double coat and long tail.
