I used to love books like these when I was little. As everyone has said the blue is definitely harder to see. But it is a fun book with lots of information for the kids.

I cannot put into words how amazing this book is. It is fascinating, educational, even seems a bit magical at times. When viewed brought the included lens, every page of this book shows three different images. The red lens singles out the daytime animals, the green lens shows you their habitat, and the blue lens shows you the nighttime animals that reside in that same habitat. After each colorful scene are black and white pages describing each animal from the previous image and an interesting fact about each. My daughter took this book to school to share with her class & it was a big hit! This book would make a beautiful and interesting coffee table book, a fantastic gift for a child, even a wonderful activity for a nursing home. This book is downright amazing & I will be giving this one for numerous holiday gifts. The pictures I'm posting are all from the same exact page, just looking through different lenses. Do not hesitate to pick this one up!!

Grandkids (8 & 10) love it.

This book is amazing! Travel through the different environments of the world. Learn about all the different plants and animals at each destination. The illustrations are astounding. The best part is each page is actually three images. With the special filter viewer included you can view the daytime animals, nighttime predators or the vegetation. Not just a book to read, but also a rich learning experience. Put this in your reference library next to the encyclopedias, it's that chock full of wonderful information.

The blue nighttime filter does not bring up pictures - tried using under a bright light, in sunlight and with a flashlight with no results. This was to be a gift for our granddaughter, she would have been very disappointed! Returned the book…

I saw this book featured on a physics page I follow on Instagram. This book is a great concept with fascinating illustrations. I really like that there is so much to see and is very educational as well. This book is fun for kids to learn and be entertained, but perhaps even more fun for adults!I really appreciate these type of books and will most likely be getting the other themed books as well.

Perfect gift for my two granddaughters age 6 and 8. They never tire of looking at the pages with the color lens. There is so much to find on each with with the different colors. Adults that come over like to look through the book also. The book is sturdy and looks like it will last years (for new grandchildren hopefully). It has a sturdy sleeve inside the front cover for the color lens.

This book is unique. Kids and adults of all ages enjoy looking through the three colored lenses to see different aspects of the habitats.

beautiful book. love the size. only issue for me is the blue filter ( is not so great.) a few of the other reviews wrote the same thing. for this reason the book should perhaps cost less or the blue filter needs to be improved.

I bought a couple of these books as gifts for 5-7 year olds. It is so cool and exciting for both kids and parents alike. I would definitely recommend it and will be buying one for my eldest daughter for Christmas.

Best book ever. We love it so much that we are thinking of buying the human body one. I will definitely buy this again. So pleased. My 3 year old son loves it.

Great pictures in the book but squinting through the little coloured squares got on my nerves very quick. My daughter is not interested in them at all. She is 14, niece is 6 and she wasn’t keen neither.

I love this book. It's really cool and the kids love it. The glasses work great just wish there was more than one pair.
