With this on it ensures the water stays in the pipe until it’s done draining. This worked very well for my use. I like this overall design however there looks to be a major flaw. The product itself is wonderful, sturdy classy and easy to disassemble. Quality is good, Its very useful, very compact looks good. This will avoid any fouls smell coming in from drain and prevent insects and cockroaches away.

Most poor quality product, the product is not worth ₹100/- I am in total loss buying this product, the seller has kept no option to return.

This pop up drain assembly is AWESOME!!! Right from opening the box you can tell this is a first class product. The packaging is excellent. I really wanted to like this and it is a good idea. Basically the foot goes into the basket, you pick it up by the stem to dump out, and you can flip it inside out to help dislodge food. Good for washing machine outlet pipe connector, really anti overflowing product.
