I have had these for a few years and absolutely love them! I use them in the summer time for fans for my horse because otherwise I forget to plug in/unplug the extension cords. They continue to work like a charm & I will definitely buy again if needed!! I have only used one of the programs - turn on in the morning, off in the evening - & I definitely have to refer to the manual to reset them or change times, because there are multiple options/settings, but I promise they are super simple to set up!

These are great timers that I am using for my grow lights getting ready for spring planting. First, they are solidly made and strike you that the interface is intuitive and not complicated. That turned out to be the case. I just need on at a time and off at a time to repeat each day. That is program one in the very well put together instructions. The timing only uses a 24 hour clock (military time). That is a good thing so that you cannot possibly mix up AM and PM and as a former military guy, that's how my watch is set anyway. The 2 pack is a great value, the size is compact but the buttons are still easily accessible. Bright white color and a very legible backlit screen. Batteries not required.

These timers work great for the plant lights!

This is one of those things where you take a chance not really knowing what you are going to get and if it is going to satisfy the technical requirement. But this timer has worked out great and has been working that way for a year. My application is for cycling (20 seconds on, 60 seconds off) a high-discharge pump used to prevent water overflow but I also needed the pump to shut off periodically during discharge to allow for draining due to its high flow rate and the existing outflow situation. There is a float switch on the pump that only turns the pump on when required. So the timer sends electricity on the programmed cycle constantly, but the pump only turns on when the float switch is activated. This setup works perfectly for my application and the timer has saved me from a LOT of worry. I also like that the timer has a battery backup so it doesn't have to be reprogrammed after a power outage.

These timers are easy to install and set up, and do the trick. Worth their money.

This limitation might be an issue for others in similar situations.Overall, it functions well, just not suitable for my specific requirements. If you need a simple timer that can repeat cycles, this might be a good option for you!
