I almost lost the battle with gnats! Every time I watered my plant, a cloud of gnats flew from the soil. These work very well and are so so sticky ! There are lots in a pack which make it great value for money. There is a peel off backing on both sides. Easy to place into the soil and has done a great job at catching gnats. After a week of use, I’ve used 3 and less and less have appeared each day. I think I’m finally getting on top of it. One thing to note, this catches the adult gnats or bugs, and don’t do anything for the eggs in the soil. These just interrupts the life cycle by preventing more gnats laying eggs. The design is lovely, and not an eyesore - size is appropriate too for indoor plants. If you’re on the fence, I would say these are a plant lifesaver for any bugs.

Having purchased a well know brand of houseplants compost last year, within a few weeks the house was plagued with fungus gnats!!! It got so bad they were everywhere, My cat tried to help exterminate them lol. As I didn't want to use chemicals I purchased these brilliant little things, you have to be patient, at first I thought they weren't going to clear the annoying little blighters. Once the cycle is broken egg, larve, fly, no flies no eggs after 3 weeks I saw a significant difference and by 5 weeks all clear Fungus Gnats gone!!! Easy to use, no smell and good value.

Works quite well, patience needed as not instant . However, long lasting stickiness so no need to change until well covered with insects, approx 2-3 months.

Brought these as my house plants have a gnat problem. Good size and ease to peel the backs off. Good and sticky found a lot of gnats stuck to it. It doesn't smell and the design adds to the decor of the plant pots. Great value for money.

This works really well. I have few potted plants in my lounge. So I stuck one in each pot and was shocked to see how many tiny flies it captured on both sides. (as per the pic) Extremely useful. I would never have realised they were that many hovering about!!! Great job. Might have to get rid of plants 😒

I have 2 in 4 plants and not one has caught any gnats. I can see the gnats in the plant pots but none have stuck to them. Update: I was offered a full refund on the product by the seller. They also contacted me privately and sent out a different product free of charge & helped me with setting it up. Great service!!

These were fantastic. Definitely would recommend them. 100% did what i needed them to do. Still have quite a few left. The fact that they are yellow and shaped like a flower, they are not unsightly items at all. Amazing . Thanks Amazon & thanks to the seller.

I experienced a fruit fly problem after repotting all of my Aloes in newly purchased potting medium. I was tempted to throw all houseplants away as it was so horrible to have so many flies. As a last desperate attempt i bought these along with some granules to put on the surface of the compost. These flowers are really easy to stick in your plant pots and they start to collect flies immediately (unlike fly strips I'd previously bought). You get lots in the box, so you cam replace as often as needed. I dont know how effective they would be alone. They certainly catch the flies, but if you still have more breeding, the problem would still keep coming back. I definitely recommend using these though, perhaps alongside a soil treatment.
