NOT for your flashlight
This is similar in appearance to the seal for your Mag-Lite switch, and the same diameter. However, it will not work on the flashlight, because it is a different seal, for a switch on a charging device. This seal,108-000-643, has a boss on the underside that will cause the flashlight to stay on, and not turn off.I'm not returning it. I was able to trim the extra material off for normal operation. For the correct seal, search the part number 108-000-034.

Did the job
:c[ Didn't fit well at all for my 20 year old 4 D cell Maglite. Obviously they are trying to make a one size fits all button for switches that are different. Anyway I suppose I will try cutting it like the other reviewer did. If I can't get that to work I will lower my rating to one star.UPDATE: cut the inside nipple off and that did the trick. They should instruct people that they may need to cut this off depending on the maglite they have.

Will not stay in place
I wasn’t able to get this to stay in place. It kept falling out. I mean I tried everything I could think of to get it to stay in place. I have a two cell “D” maglite, maybe this one isn’t the correct size.

Needs Modification To Fit, BUT
This doesn't fit as well as the original in a 3-D cell Maglite - there is a 'nub' underneath which interfere's with installation - with a little effort, the 'nub' can be minimized - even after that adjustment, it doesn't stay in position an better than the original -My solution was to wrap the flashlight with a piece of 'gorilla tape' covering the switch (with the seal in place) - the seal can't fall out, although it can be tricky locating the switch and the button is a tiny bit harder to push - I left an intentional gap in the gorilla tape opposite the switch - when I pick up the flashlight I feel the gap with my fingers and that positions my thumb almost directly over the switch -

Works just fine as of right now
Works just fine as of right now, but the big issue is that it seems to be two-staged, almost like a military trigger on a firearm. Only after you depress the button several millimeters are you met with the ACTUAL button, at which point you depress with slightly more force to activate the flashlight.Pretty annoying when it's probably the difference between a millimeter or two of rubber on the bottom of this thing. A stock button only takes the slightest amount of effort to turn the flashlight on. This thing has a travel distance before anything happens.

Exact replacement
Love my rechargeable flashlight and was disappointed when the old switch "rotted". Was happy to find a replacement. Easy to install
