Every single thing you can learn from this book is intuitively obvious to do and/or blatantly unnecessary to memorize. If this book has convinced me of anything, it's that the author's entire field of study is for people not smart enough to be technicians, overly academic and ultimately pointless.

This is the best, and the only book for new all new, and practising UX Researchers that I would recommend. It's quite dense so best to read bits at a time and make sure to grasp that fully before moving on to the next chapters.
