These are the greatest little item to feed cats. I take care of feral cats that are outside and this allows the dish to stay in place and the stainless steel to be washed easily in between meals. It's so pretty that I'm sure it would look great in a house.

I had my doubts when I bought this, but we love it now. The turquoise is vivid and a pretty color. The metal dish part detaches easily from the rest for cleaning, food filling, you name it. The cat had been using a standard dish and she would knock her food all.over.the.place. All the time. After reading online about why cats do this, apparently it can be (and was) whisker irritation by whiskers brushing or hitting the sides of the bowl, or whisker fatigue. We changed to this for her solid foods and she has not knocked around any food and is eating well. Changing to this for just the food was sufficient to stop her behaviors. We still have a flat dish gravity feeder for water and she is good with that. The turquoise part is weighted to a degree so it's not easily moved by the animal. The metal is not but sits down in the teal part pretty well. Really glad we bought it for our cat.

This bowl is pretty. I like that the metal part comes off. The angle is kinda fun.. took a little gettingbused to. The cats seem to like it. I wanted to love this bowl, but I believe the story about it preventing vomiting was false. My cat has vomited more since we got the bowl. Not saying it is because of the bowl.. but it certainly hasn't helped.

So cute and durable, I love the fact that the parts can go into dishwasher. The stainless steel bowl is also really easy to wipe clean. I might come back to get more! And I wish the orange one also come in the shallow setting.

I never thought that a dog food bowl could be that important. Until I had a very picky eater for the first time. Many times he wouldn't want to approach his old bowl, or he would approach it very carefully. Almost as if he felt the need to sneak up on it. I ordered 3 different bowls to try. This was clearly the favorite. I think it's a combination of factors that make him prefer this one. It's slightly elevated. It's shallow, so he doesn't have to stick his face down into it. And it's angled, which makes for even easier access for him. I was worried that there might be too much noise because of the way the bowl sits on the base, but there's almost none, and it's very secure on the base. It's got enough weight to it that I don't worry about him spilling it. It's very stable. We've gone from having to scoop up food and hand feed him with the old bowl, to him eating totally on his own out of this one. I may buy a couple more to have on hand just in case they stop making them in the future!

I can't remember the price but I think it was about £30. Pretty pricey but my cat likes it, he eats his dry medicated food from it. It is raised and slanted and shallow. so, good for easy access to food without whisker fatigue! Plus it's pretty to look at if that is important to you.
