A handy tool, compact and value for money
Katie Price might have benefited from this device to save a trip or two to court... Very useful as linked to Bluetooth on your phone, speed cameras are clearly shown with speed limit, as well as red light cameras. Picks up 20 zones in London, though some need updating. You can add a mobile camera position or hazard and it will save its approximate position. The adhesive is poor, I needed to glue it to the windscreen. The device could be slightly bigger to see the screen, but the alerts are audible enough. Like Harry Kane's season at Spurs this year, it can become disconnected and distracted, so a reconnect with the Bluetooth is required every so often. Easy to do in the app which runs on the phone. Good value for money overall.

Good but not perfect
Small, simple to install, set up & use. No wires. Recharge it from any usb phone type charger 3/4 times a year. Install free app on your phone & the device talks to it, uses gps. Warning sounds & display shows as you approach a camera. Picks up most but not all cameras. Missed some that have been in existence for years. That’s a database issue. Worth having, but some argue that the free ‘Waze’ phone satnav app is as good. It is useful as a fit and forget device that works automatically every time you drive your car, as long as you have your phone with you.

Great kit
It works well, no false alerts when travelling In other direction, I love it but if my wife uses the car the siren will keep going off, so I have to turn it off for her. I'm going to change siren to just a beep as it's plenty. But one feature which blew me away was the average speed number shown when driving through an average zone. It will reflect what the speed is and what you average is clocking at

No mobile camera database.
Brilliant concept which seems to work well on fixed cameras and average speed cameras. Easy to set up and fit in car. Unfortunately in the U K it doesn't yet have enough users to report mobile cameras reliably. This wouldn't be such a problem if there was a database of common mobile speed camera locations but there isn't. Therefore I'm afraid I can't recommend it. Surely it wouldn't be difficult to upgrade the software to include regular mobile camera locations and make this an invaluable bit of kit.

Perfect
For £60, if it stops you getting 1 fine, it’s saved you money. I like how it tells you your average speed average speed camera’s which takes the guess work out of it. I’ve found the occasional speed camera that it hasn’t alerted me to, but has warned me when going the other direction. All in all I’d say it was 95% accurate.

Saphe Drive Mini traffic alarm, speed camera detection and warning system for car
Hi, . I bought a SAPHE Drive Mini, I created an account on their website and downloaded their App to my mobile. The device worked okay except for a several awkward problems:- 1) Despite what the product description says, The SAPHE device is NOT a traffic camera DETECTOR, it does NOT detect traffic cameras. It relies on submissions made by other owner-drivers to register cameras and incidents to the devices system. 2) The SAPHE wouldn’t always connect to my ‘phone 3) While the device was in my car and working, my mobile ‘phone, a Samsung Galaxy A12, would no longer connect to my cars system - Ford SYNC, so I was unable to make or receive calls and texts and my cars emergency callout system would therefore not operate. I tried all the different techniques for pairing the ‘phone, the car and the SAPHE without success. I needed to delete my ‘phone from my cars system – then re-pair the ‘phone in order to get it to reconnect. I contacted SAPHE in an attempt to get help using ALL of the THREE contact methods described on their website:- 1) I completed the On-line form to create a Support Ticket – the form was acknowledged by returning an automated email but NO Support ticket number, only a link to their “Support Page” – I did not receive any further communication, 2) I tried sending a direct email – I received a “Read Receipt” – confirmation that my email had in fact been read – I did not receive any further communication, 3) I used their “Call me back” service where I requested a call-back by telephone – I did not receive any further communication. 4) Since their Support telephone number is an international number, I assumed that calling them would also be a complete waste of time too – but a very costly one. 5) I tried to access their website for support using my original Username and Password but was advised “You are not authorised to access this portal – Kindly contact your helpdesk administrator”. + So, if you buy a SAPHE and anything goes wrong, there are lots of methods to get help – BUT NONE OF THEM WORK – SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTENT- at least it wasn't for me. After much wasted time and effort, I returned my SAPHE for refund – no problem with Amazon. I would so much have liked my SAPHE to work as advertised. . UPDATE:- Three weeks after my original report to SAPHE support, I eventually received a response about the problem. They suggested an action which I had already advised them that I had tried. But too late anyway, the SAPHE had already been returned.

Don't get Caught!
I was rather sceptical about this product as did not think it would work but I have to say this is amazing. Obviously we all should be adhering to the speed limits but what I like about this is that it gives you a warning that a speed camera or congestion is coming up so you can check your speed or perhaps take an alternative route if there is heavy traffic. You can set the distance of how far you want that warning sound to notify you and the warning sound is really loud. Please note that this does rely on other users notifying cameras that are not yet on Saphe. This is so easy to do. When you come across a camera and Saphe has not warned you, you just press either the left button for conjestion or the right button for camera and then it records it and will keep it there. Highly recommend this, glad we bought it!

Good, but needs a bit more work
Few cameras out on the road are not picked up, even with the most updated software
