Well constructed but questionable on durability of center
This is less of an outdoor toy than I thought. I was expecting the green center material to be elastic like fabric but it is more like taught rubber or latex. It makes a fun reverberation sound when the ball bounces off of it. I worry about the durability of the center. Because it is stretched material, I think it is more susceptible to punctures or tears if kids are playing outside and set it in the yard on top of a stick. As soon as the center gets a puncture it will no longer be taught and won’t bounce the ball back; I don’t think the material would be able to be fixed. Purchased for 8 year old and her friend hoping to replace a similar outside toy that broke, but this toy is more suitable for teens. With that said the handle is thick and constructed well. The feel of the racquet has some weight behind it.

I love this set!
Like everything Koosh, I find these to be a great set and very well made. These are meant to be used with a koosh ball, so if you plan to abuse them with something much heavier, you should expect them to possibly get damaged like other reviewers have done. These are so much fun, and the noise they make when the ball hits them is comical. I'm an adult and I love playing with these, and I can see they would be fun for just about anybody.

Fun for all ages!
It's super fun for kids and adults alike. I'm going to order this as Christmas gifts for families with young kids - I know they will have a blast! Highly recommended. Likes: - suitable for any age and easy to pick up - very engaging - once you start, it's hard to stop - you can literally play this anywhere - indoor, outdoor, in the living room, in the bedroom! - trains hand/eye coordination - strength control practice (we played it in the bedroom, yes!, my 11 year old son needed to learn to control his stroke strength in order to have a decent rally going) - racket seems sturdy enough to survive some knocks and hits (but be careful with the middle rubber part) Dislikes: - the handle is hard plastics, so my hand where it gripped the handle started showing redness after 10-15mins into a game. I would recommend getting grip tap for comfort. - 1 "ball" that comes with the set is not enough! I recommend getting a few more. I bought a 3pc mini ball set along with this playset. It's fun and hilarious when my son tried to hit 2 balls at once for me to return the rally
