Memories (of windowsill pots) are made of this; I'm a NYC girl. The spikes are easy to sink into moist soil, and they're approximately 1-3/4" long. I think they really make a difference - and the fact that they're organic is a big plus! I hope I'm being helpful.

Would one of these be safe to use in a 4 inch pot?

Says on the package; Container diameter: 4in gets 1 spike 8in gets 2 spikes 12in gets 4 spikes So yes. A 4in container will be fine

Fantastic find. I have 6 rose bushes that are struggling in the heat and looking for love. These rose bushes are my babie. I also have 2 Brazilian Jasmine plants. One needs love and the other one is fine. This worked before and will work again.
