Why wont it work with the 12.9 inch ipad pro? it’s the same concept right? or are you saying, it works, but the magnets are not strong

It works fine with the 12.9 inch ipad pro and the magnets are plenty strong for both the Smart Keyboard Folio/Smart Folio--these are the Apple cases that came out at the same time as the iPad Pro. The CoverBuddy for the 12.9 iPad Pro does not work with the Magic Keyboard in all configurations. This is the new keyboard that just came out (where the iPad appears to float). The iPad in the CoverBuddy will attach fine to the new keyboard when the keyboard is in use (when the iPad is "floating"). You just cannot close the Magic Keyboard with iPad in the CoverBuddy--the rear hinge does not provide enough additional space for the additional thickness of the CoverBuddy such that the Magic Keyboard does not close flat.

Does this coverbuddy for the 4th gen ipad pro 12.9 work with the magic keyboard?

YES!!!! I just got mine last week for the 4th gen 12.9. I thought it would only work with folio case but works perfectly with Magic Keyboard!!! I even have a tempered glass screen protector applied and it closes all the way. Love it!!!

My coverbuddy has worked perfectly until the most recent ipados 16 update… now it no longer works/types with the magic keyboard. can this be fixed?

I did not have that issue but maybe the connections are no longer making contact. I would try cleaning the contact prongs.
