savory smoky heat
this blend tastes much better than the other one I bought prior to this. this is a savory, smoky seasoning with a little heat and is what I was hoping this seasoning would taste like. the other one was not even close

If you've had Chilean Merquen in Chile, you will expect more heat. The flavor is ok. I also prefer the coarser grind.

Spicy and flavorful
I received a small container of this product as a gift a few years ago. I ran out of it and back then was not available online. I am glad I'm now able to have it again. Great for sauces red meat, fish, pork, stews

Very similar to paprika
This is very close in heat, smokiness and flavor to Hungarian hot smoked paprika. It pairs well stews and soups.
