Well, I can now add to the rumors that The rarest form of tea olive found only in remote areas of china does exist. Recently brought to this country by a fellow nurseryman in south carolina. Flowers are dark orange to red in color and very fragrant. This plant does not seem to bloom when young. True size of this plant is yet to be determined but is estimated anywhere from 12 feet tall to the size of a large tree. Exposure : Full sun Hardiness Zones : 7-10 ? ( not published as of yet, but this is the typical hardiness zone for most tea olives ) Review: Quality plant packaged well and arrived in good shape - Good and healthy plant arrived on time.
