My BMI is 26.5. My doctor prescribed myo-inositol to help gently reduce elevated testosterone, improve my metabolism, address a prediabetic state, and help with acne and unwanted hair growth. At first, I took Inofolic Alpha (myo-inositol only). Within a few months, I noticed significant improvements: my acne almost completely cleared, my PMS symptoms disappeared, and my periods became much easier. About 4–5 months after finishing the course, my acne gradually returned, so I started taking Inofolic Alpha again. After consulting a doctor in the UK, I switched to Inofolic Alpha Plus (myo-inositol + D-chiro-inositol). However, within just a few days of starting it, my skin became noticeably oilier and I developed deep inflammatory acne again.
