I love this expansion, makes the game more interesting and entertaining since you can basically eat other people's meeples and ruin their strategies. I love it!

This expansion took our already beloved Carcassonne experience to the next level. We’ve collected nearly every expansion available, and The Princess & The Dragon adds a fantastic element of chaos, strategy, and fun that shakes up the standard gameplay in the best way. The dragon adds a delightful unpredictability that keeps everyone on their toes, while the princess tile introduces unique decision-making moments that make each turn more dynamic. It's especially great when playing with family or friends who are already familiar with the core game and want something new without learning an entirely new ruleset. If your household or game group loves Carcassonne as much as we do, this is an essential addition. It breathes new life into a classic and makes every round feel like a new adventure. Definitely one of our favorites!

This expansion creates a whole new feel to an already awesome game! The dragon adds complete chaos across the board. Highly would recommend!

Fun expansion. A little complicated and I found the rules lacking a bit. Introduces a new special turn for the dragon. My daughter was hoping for more given the theme of fairies and princess. The princess element is a little too competitive for my taste. We chose not to use it. I'd love to see more cooperative expansions.

The dragon is a fun mechanic that drastically changes how the players go about placing tiles. It is entertaining to watch as the major cities and roads are built clustered as far from the dragon as possible. The magic portals are a good way to account for the Dragon and the Princess removing meeples from the board. Plus, additional tiles are always great to extend the game even if not using the expansion rules associated with them.

The BEST extension. It's hard to remember playing without it. Turns the calm paced strategic game on its head with a dragon popping out of a volcano and stomping across the landscape eating meeple! There's still strategy to be had but it disrupts the stronger players tactics so that the others get more of a chance and the addition of princesses that can boot knights out, the protective fairy and magic portals for claiming unclaimed features all make this a wonderful twist on a great game. Go for it!

The dragon adds an interesting take on the game. Good when playing with 3 or more players. With 2, we move the dragon in circles and he doesn’t eat anyone.
