Can i out things other than soup or pasta in it? Like fries and nuggets, or pies?

I was very unhappy with this purchase. It did not keep food hot as promised and it was damaged within a week of my purchase by my child just from carting it around, dropping her backpack etc. I'd look for something else.

Is it dishwasher safe

It says hand wash only on the bottom.. however, I'm kind of that lazy mama...that being said, I typically put these on the top rack of the dishwasher and they've held up just fine.

Unfortunately it's not dishwasher safe. I tried it once just to see what will happen. The inner lining got water in it did not drain, I can hear the water when I shake the container.

I lost the instructions that came with the product. Can the food jar go into the microwave and is it dishwasher safe?

It's metal on the inside, I wouldn't trust that in the microwave.
