Great food container - holds a lot of kibble - I put 15kg into it and there’s loads of room left. The seal seems very good. Could have done with a scoop included but I just use my old one.

I purchased the 53L container for storing dry kibble for my dog. It more than comfortably holds a whole 12kg bag of junior large breed food (Arden Grange) with capacity to maybe hold a 15kg bag of kibble. The storage bin looks great under a counter in my kitchen. I was a bit worried that this would be a bit top heavy, but it is very sturdy when filled. Lid is difficult to get off, I didn’t manage it so ended up pouring the food through the top flap (was plenty big enough and not an issue). It does smell a bit “plasticky” but not overwhelming, just smells new! Seems to be airtight so hoping will keep the kibble fresh and crunchy! So far I think this is good value for money, will be interesting to see how it stands the test of time! Worth noting, no scoop included. Again not an issue or criticism, just be aware of you need a scoop you’ll have to buy separately. —/—/— Update: Had this container over a year now, still really pleased with it. I found the ‘knack’ to getting the lid off. I no longer tip the kibble in but slide the whole bag inside. I’ve also changed dog food since I wrote this review, so can confirm the container holds a 15kg bag of kibble. Overall, still very pleased with this product.

Love this bin to keep my Great Danes food hidden and safe, Can get a 12kg sack in and almost another sack. Love the design and colour and size not to big and fits nicely in my kitchen next to my bin, the lid stays up for filling the bin for ease and it makes life a lot easier when doing dinner times for 3 dogs . It works well and I’m glad I got one and the price I feel was ok, it’s got a good push down lid so no nosey dogs can open it and it seems to be air tight. Good delivery and arrived undamaged

Holds a 15kg bag with ease. Seems like it's airtight. Just feel like should be cheaper but is about the same as others around. Hoping will last robust plastic with clasp lid. Maybe beneficial to have wheels. Would also liked to have a side opening aswell as I have 2 and would like to stack them. Other than that good purchase

I was confused by the varying reviews on capacity as I was wanting to store 15kg of dog kibble. I hope my review will help others to choose. Firstly the product is well made and sturdier than another make I had previously. The lid sits firmly on the bin but there is no gasket therefore it is not truly air tight but a good fit. As to capacity this depends on the size of the product you are storing, my kibble was the size of large peas and the size of the bag base was much bigger than the bin opening, there was no way it would fit in. I emptied the contents into the bin and with this size of kibble it would only take approx 12kg, with smaller things such has bird seed etc it should take the full 15kg. I hope this is of some use, overall it is a good product.
