Great bargain for the price, long lasting batteries, easy to not only assemble but also to customize as a craft. Light weight, portable, and the touch buttons to turn on or off the light still work if you only LIGHTLY cover them with acrylic paint (see pictures below). I got these kits to use as a the starter base for some natural looking trees I made as centerpieces for a Gala event that is coming up in our community. I had started the first one from scratch with molding wire and my own wiring system but that took over 25hours to build, and then I found these which achieved the same look in just 3.5 hours. The lamp itself only takes about 10 minutes to put together and shape, but one of the things I love so much about it is the metal wrapping that hides and protects the wiring. Because of this you can hot glue to it's surface and easily affix decor to the product without destructing the electrical system. The sky is the limit to how you can customize these bad boys and I'm now a huge fan!!! PROS: Easy to assemble, warm soft lighting, dual mode lights, long lasting lamps, takes AA Batteries which everyone has, easy to use. CONS: a little bit of an "out of the box" look to it, out of the box. But I don't care, I'm in love.

This little tree is so simple and beautiful, I have purchased it (or one like it) over and over again to give as a gift. It always pleases the recipient as they say how bright and cheery it makes a room. I love that it can stand free with no cord because of the batteries in the base. But if you want to save on batteries, just pop the batteries out and plug the tree in to an outlet. The ambient light is comforting, simple and pleasing for any time of year. The tree comes flat in a small package and is very easy to put together. Also, I have had mine for at least five years and it is still easily functional and beautiful.

Purchased for my son's room. He said it looks "like a creepy old tree" but likes the lights so we'll keep it. Definitely looks and feels a little cheap and flimsy

This little tree is absolutely adorable. It looks exactly like the picture in the listing. You have to arrange the branches they come folded straight up in the air but once you get the hang of it and arrange it how you like it is just adorable. There is several different modes for the lighting steady on flashing slow slowly getting brighter slowly getting dimmer. I had it on the end table in my living room and I decided to put it on the windowsill in the front window in everybody comments how adorable it is When I say everybody, I’m of course speaking about most of my neighbors & guests It adds that extra something where you need it. I’ll add pics when I get home!!

I pulled it out of the package and immediately hated it. The shiny silver tape around the branches and trunk looked horrible. There was no times and a weird touch thing on the trunk that would turn the lights on and make them blink. I started working with it and the entertainment factor alone was awesome. I sat there for hours sculpting and bending and twisting. And it was super relaxing and calming. If you’re expecting it to be perfect out of the package you’ll be disappointed. But I really enjoyed sculpting the tree. I can see myself shaping and reshaping it just for the entertainment and relaxation. The size is easily a foot and a half. It makes an excellent nightlight and adds ambiance to the evening. Super light weight but the stand is very sturdy. I love that I can plug it in. Despite one light being burned out, I absolutely love it. It’s lovely and I know I’m going to use it for stress reduction and relaxation. It’s kind of like trimming a bonsai tree. I feel like Mr Myagi from karate kid. And since it plugs in I can leave it on as a night light all night. The value for the money is really good.

Cheap but looks great from more than 5ft away. Great use as a “night light” in kitchen or living room.

I guessed I'd love this tree but had no idea that I'd actually LOVE it. It's exactly as pictured. I love that it runs on batteries or plugged into the mains. I love that the branches can be positioned just how I want them. It brings me so much joy that I bought one for a friend who was recovering from surgery. She loves it too ❤️ I 💯 recommend this product.

Got 2 of these for myself and a friend... Its in the kitchen and keeps it nice low light when you don't want it too bright...
