I've only had this floating in my pool for two days but I'm already super happy with it. The first day I put it in my pool it was dark, overcast, and raining pretty hard. I didn't think I would have generated enough solar power for it to work but it lit up brightly that first night! Today was a full sun, 92 degree Texas day and its bright again tonight. The chlorine tabs fit perfectly and it floats around perfectly upright. Plus it looks really neat!! Much better than my old boring chlorine floaters and seems much sturdier too. I'm wondering how long before the clear plastic dome stays looking worn, but for this price and for the look, i won't mind swapping them out every 6 months if i needed to! Will definitely buy again.

Had this in my cart for a while, Prime Day deal made it impossible to not buy. Wish I would’ve gotten 2 at that price. Put in the pool and it charged all day and it’s lit up like a flame perfectly! Way cooler than I thought it would be. I have another military tank chlorinater and now it looks like it blew something up! If you’re not as fun as we are, they are very elegant on their own. Currently has no tablets in it and floats perfectly. I love this!!!!

At first I really loved this chlorinator!It's very easy to fill and has a very cool "flame" light that comes on automatically at dusk!However... It tips on its side while it still has quite a bit of chlorine tablets in it, making it very difficult to tell when to add more. My cheap "ducks" worked much better than this.Another big problem is that there is no way to adjust the holes in order to limit the amount of chlorine that is being distributed into the pool water! I am using way more chlorine than I used to with my cheap "duck"!I'll keep it for now mainly because of how easy it is to fill but I will be on the lookout for something that works better overall.UPDATE:Customer service, which went above and beyond for me, contacted me about the problems that I was having and asked me if I wanted to try their new one. It's a little smaller in diameter, with smaller holes so that the chlorine will last longer.So of course I said YES!First impressions of the new one were great! Still has a nice "flame" and the chlorine seems to way longer, which is awesome!I just finished my test. In order to speed things along I removed all of the chlorine tablets with the intention of adding them back in one at a time in order to see how many it would take for it to float straight up.Unfortunately even when it is completely empty it will not tilt(opposite problem as before). So I will have no idea when it is empty.This is pretty important to me as it's a nice gauge and even the cheaper ones have this ability.I have upgraded my review from 3 stars to 4(3.5 would probably be more accurate).If not knowing when you are out of chlorine isn't important to you then I would tell you to buy it.

So this works well, solar powered. As the sun sets it lights up and glows.Will hold 3, 3 in chlorine tabs.I don't like all the water spots but as it's in the pool not sure how to avoid that.I want to get a few more merely for the affect of the lights floating.I think it would look nice in the pool with a few of the..Good value, holds same as any other chlorine floater with added flare than the boring white and blue. Easy to use, floats well.It opens much easier with a twist of the bottom. You don't have to take any lid off or separate anything.Just twist and fill.So if you want to add some beauty to the pool for some night swimming. This is a good choice.

Works well and as described. During the day the clear globe with a large white "candle" inside is attractive and way different than other clorinators. At night watching the candle float back and forth across the pool is very soothing.It holds six Chlorine tabs, more than typical, and tips to the side to indicate Tabs are running low. The Tabs are inserted through a door that is exposed by twisting a collar on the column under the globe. This is way way better and easier than trying to screw the column on to the float.The "Duck" and "Turtle" etc. are cute and not to be ignored, but this is more sophisticated, classy, easier to use, and quite the conservation piece.

I put the float inside the swimming pool it charged during the day and at night it looked awesome. We enjoyed it although on the third day, it stopped working disappointed. The float works great for the 1 inch tablets with a small holes and does not dispense too much chlorine, which was what I needed for a small swimming pool I do like the floater and the way it works unfortunately, the light does not work any more.

Nice to have something with double use. The floater holds 3 of the 3" chlorine tabs. We have a 12,000 gallon pool and I should probably add a second one of these to help maintain chlorine levels better (we get full sun so chlorine burns off quickly). This lights up every night and looks great floating in the pool.
