Can this be used to connect 2 standalone PC towers to one screen?

Yes, I have a desktop PC and a mac mini connected to one display screen, and select what feed to display by pressing the button on the top of the unit to change output channel 1 or 2. Works perfect to display my PC signal or mac mini . Light illuminates (1 or 2) when in use to inform what signal is in use.

Would this work with an Xbox series x? So I can switch between my gaming tv & big tv?

If your X box and TVs have HDMI output, it will work. If it has any other output, you'll need an adaptor - HDMI to - whatever. Since connecting leads aren't supplied with the Fokky splitter, it simply means buying the right ones but it should work if your X box and TVs have HDMI. If you're going from/into stuff like USB or VGA (ancient stuff) - different story - I don't know. Returning it is easy and if you buy any adapting leads from Amazon as well, you can easily try it and return it if it doesn't work but - HDMI to HDMI, this should work perfectly. If you don't know the diff. between all these connectors (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz), look on Youtube for tutorials about switching monitor screens - HDMI, VGA and several USB types - before you order. It's not hard. All the best.

Does this work with fire stick

We use it successfully to switch between a Roku unit and a Freeview receiver so I suspect if you can plug an HDMI lead into a fire stick it should switch across no problem.

If there is a socket for it to connect to then YES
