I love this ice maker since my other one died in less than a year. I also like that it stops going when it doesn't have water and will go dormant until refilled or cleaned. The timer feature is great too so it's not making ice in the middle of the night but will start at the time I need it to. I like the size choices as well. The only downfall is it doesn't keep the ice cold once it is made it'll just melt and remake the ice so when I have extra ice, I just put it into a bag in the freezer for future use. Really easy to use and such a nice style.

Take negative reviews with a grain of salt. On a camping forum one guy complained there were too many trees in the forested campground. had this unit over a year, makes several cubes every few minutes, good sized ones. Yes the ice will melt if you leave it overnight as this unit does not have a built in refridge, if it did it would be more than double the cost. I use this at home daily, take it to parties and our cabin. I get tons of compliments on the look and more importantly the functionality.

This ice machine works well! Be sure to follow the directions!!! After receiving it let the unit stand in its upright position for 24 hours so all solvents inside can settle. This is very important.The Ice takes about 10 minutes to start producing and about 3 or 4 hours to get a basket full. It makes round bullet shape ice and you pick small or larger! Just be patient and you will be a happy camper!! :)I love this machine. A little noisy when ice drops but to me that's a minor issue... remember this is not a mega ice making machine it makes a good portion. We it and put it in small storage plastic freezer bags and obviously keep the bags in the freezer and when we make more we replenish it!!! Again, read the directions!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised. The ice cubes are small, but it can certainly crank them out at a very good rate. We've replaced the ice maker in the fridge twice and we wanted an alternative in lieu of another expensive repair. The one drawback is the ice cubes are hollow and they melt at a faster rate than a solid cube of ice.

Makes ice really fast. Negative, Super noisy. Only worked for about a year and now won't make ice.

I bought this ice maker to get my rabbits through the Florida heat. I put ice in their water cooler. The ice machine worked all summer with no problems. Even used it for birthday parties over the summer to give guests nice cool refreshments. No complaints with this ice maker at all, works great!

My children love this machine. I have a daughter addicted to ice, so we got this gadget. The entire house loves the softness and immediate availability of ice nuggets.It is quite noisy, but if you aren’t sleeping next to it, you ll be fine.

I found the timer function difficult to navigate despite reading the directions repeatedly. Still, it worked reasonably well to produce ice for about a year. Then it just stopped working. Turns on but won't make ice. Too bad, I was hoping it would last longer. I know these have a limited life span but I had one from a different manufacturer before that lasted almost 5 years. Will search for a different one next time.

I like that the ice is great and fast however I find the machine to noisy to leave on the kitchen counter so it's not in the main living area so that's a little inconvenient
