I really like this shower head. I live in an older house and I am pretty sure I was still using the original shower head. So, literally anything I bought was going to be an upgrade. I don't "do plumbing" but after reading a lot of different reviews, I considered this one might be doable but thought before I purchased it, I should make sure that I could get the old shower head off. For me, that was the hardest part but surprisingly, it only took 3 or 4 minutes and a couple of wrenches to loosen it up. Once I had the old head off, I inspected the threads and everything looked pretty good so I went ahead and ordered it. I decided to try it first without removing the water restrictor and as it turns out, I am completely happy with it the way that it comes from the factory.....plenty of water pressure for me while still extending the hot water time. I would say 15 to 20 minutes of hot shower time from an old 60 gallon gas water heater.......maybe a 5 minute wait for the next person to wait for the tank to reheat up but that has more to do with your water heater and temp settings, than your shower head. Most importantly, this shower head has just the right amount of spray pressure and it feels very soothing with a large amount of coverage. I was surprised with how quickly and easily I connected it up.......just took it out of the box, screwed it on and done. Just that easy. I didn't even use the plumbers tape. I was going to try it first without removing the water restrictor and didn't want to use the plumbers tape until I knew which option I was going to use. Turns out, once I put it on, I didn't even need the tape, no leaks and had a perfect shower the minute I turned it on. Very nice looking too.....classy, sleek and very light weight. A couple of things to consider when buying this.......for me, I love the feel of the "rainfall spray" the way it is right out of the box and I think removing the water restrictor would create more pressure than what I would want but more pressure might be exactly what another person would need...... lets say someone with long, thick flowing hair might prefer to remove the water restrictor for hair purposes alone. But other than the "water restrictor" option, it is a "fixed" head and has only one setting so what you see if what you get. No mist setting or power pulse or massage type stuff....nothing fancy here, just one basic but very pleasant large area spray. I am 5'8" tall and it is perfect for me but if you are particularly tall or if you want to stand under it with it pointing straight down, then you might consider buying an extender to go with this. The head does swivel and I use mine with it pointing out with more of a slant sideways down spray. Also, there is a video online on how to remove the "water restrictor" if the included instructions don't do it for you. All in all, this is one very nice basic shower head at a very decent price.

Great product, especially for the price! Our 10 year old shower head literally busted off in the middle of a shower and I needed a new one quickly, but didn't have time to shop for one locally. This product was the perfect price and for an extra $6 was delivered same-day! About the shower head itself - Looks and works great! The flow restrictor came out pretty easily exactly as the instructions said it would. They included Teflon tape and an extra screen as well. Installed easily and water pressure is perfect! About Somov World LTD. - I was particularly impressed when I received an email the day after the product was delivered from Somov World LTD making sure I was satisfied and sending me a digital copy of the user's manual for my records (even though a printed copy was in the box also) and a coupon off a second shower head! There are so many terrible companies out there who completely miss the boat on service, that I'm easily impressed when a company takes just a few minutes to add the extra touch of personalized service like they did. Well done! Highly recommend this shower head for anyone looking for a low-cost option that still looks good!

I just bought a house and the master shower is on the complete opposite side of the house than the water heater. The master shower head was tiny and it wouldn't get hot because the water output of the shower head was so low that the water from the water heater cooled down before it reached the shower head. Then comes this little beauty. When i first got the box i thought to myself.... that's a lot smaller than i was expecting but lets try it out anyways. It took about 2 minutes to pull the limiter out, wrap the pipe with the included Teflon tape, and install. Turned it on and was very pleasantly surprised with not only the water output but the pressure of the water coming out of the shower head as well. They made it the perfect size where you get a nice circumference of water and still have plenty of water pressure coming out. This also solved the hot water issue in the master shower. it outputs enough water that my shower now gets hot in about 30 seconds. It also saves money because i don't have to turn on every faucet in the master bedroom to get hot water to the shower now. If this wouldn't have worked I would have had to install an on demand water heater on that side of the house which would have been thousands of dollars. Even if you aren't having the problems i was with the hot water, this is still an amazing shower head. I've had larger rain heads which put out more water but had much less pressure. This one beats the larger heads because like i said previously it's a great balance between the size of the head and the water pressure, and for the price it's worth trying out at.

This shower head is very nice. With the water restrictor it still gives a very nice steady stream of water. WITHOUT the water restrictor, it gives a virtual flood of water (if you have a heavy flow of water coming from your pipes). I am serious, I felt overwhelmed with how water this thing let out and felt bad about water waste so I put the water restrictor back in and still get a very nice shower from it. There are only a few things I didn't love about this shower head. It was not as easy as the instructions made it seem to remove the water restrictor. It took me twisting a screw into the restrictor and then pulling it out to get it out. Also, cannot adjust the stream in any way, but that isn't advertised so not really a shortcoming. A very good shower head and works as advertised!

This has probably been one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. To be fair, I bought this showerhead to upgrade from one that had barely been doing its job, but this still might have made the biggest improvement to my apartment out of everything I've bought online so far. When I was deciding whether to order, there were onIy a couple details that held me back. For one, I saw that the water flow was described as "rainfall" and worried that it might have too light of a stream for the showerhead to function well for cleaning. That fear was quickly resolved when I turned on the shower for the first time and found that even with the "flow restrictor" still attached, there was plenty of power for good cleaning while it still had a gentle, relaxing feel to it. The other concern I had at first was whether it would attach to my shower properly. I was in my first ever apartment and didn't really know how a shower fits together, so just for those who are new to these I hope it's worth mentioning that this showerhead should fit pretty much every shower. I was pretty unsure whether I needed to get something else that would attach it to the wall, so I got an extending pipe/arm that a lot of people seem to buy along with it. That was a good idea, since both take only about 15 seconds to attach to the shower, both have had no issues so far for the roughly 5 months I've had them, and when using both together they let me put the "rainfall" directly overhead for the best possible angle. Overall, this showerhead is well worth it if you don't like your current one, and probably still worth it even if you do. I'll update if there are any issues, but so far this has been flawless. I've had no need for tape or anything, since it hasn't leaked at all, and I've seen no change in water flow or cleanliness since I first got it. Last but not least, nobody asked me to write a review, I'm just happy with this showerhead and I think other people will like it if they try it too. P.S. It looks good too, sometimes things bought online look a little cheap or flimsy, but this is sturdy, shiny and has actually made my shower look much nicer.

A fantastic showerhead when you remove the restrictor. Makes for a luxury experience compared to what we were using before. Why there is even a shower in this building, I don't know, but no one was using it. So we turned it into a crazy project that has plenty of water pressure, steam, and drainage (and proper moisture control/protection). So it went from a shower in the main employee bathroom that no one uses, to a shower/steam room that everyone has been taking advantage of as a company perk. A little overkill, yes, but these showerheads helped contribute to it all. These would make great for homes, but I'd suggest using an extension arm (10-12 inches) to pull it off right if you did. Update: 10/2020: Still going strong today! No troubles or anything. Everyone loves them. The only other comment ever shared is that about 30mins after shutting off the shower, water will start draining from the head for a number of seconds. Like there is build up and it takes 30 minutes or so for the pressure to release (theory?). Not a complaint, but just an observation I guess.

The shower head works good. I removed the water saver. Plenty of water flow. Made of plastic , but made well. I don't know what the bonus gift is, they talk about when you order. All I got was some pipe tape. Must be some bs to get you to buy. Somov contacted me after I wrote this review. They told me the bonus gift WAS a 10% discount to buy another 3 inch shower head. Lol. And I must not have gotten the email. I have 1 week to buy another head at a BIG 10% discount. I must admit this was the worst bonus gift ever.

First off I do not know how the longevity will be so I am only commenting on the water flow. With that said....I love it. The city where my Townhouse is has fairly low water pressure. Combined with a so so shower head meant it took quite a while to shower. When I got this I first removed the restrictor which was very easy. When installing I really didn’t have high expectations since I have tried other shower heads that claim increased water flow without much success. I am blown away by the flow of this head. Combined with it being a fairly large head makes it even better. I definitely feel that water pressure, but it is not uncomfortable at all. You just feel like your being covered in 6-7 GPM vs 2.5 GPM if that makes sense. I did use the included plumbers tape and had zero leaks. So having used it for 5 showers so far I highly recommend it.
