I bought this knife for my annual deer/hog hunt in Texas. I usually use a havalon knife a it has been good. I saw this knife and had to have it. I read other reviews and was leary, I gutted and skinned two deer and a 200 lbs boar. it stayed sharp even cutting thru the boars hide. a few light touch ups with a steel and it was back to cutting. I am very impressed zand would recommend this to anyone.. size is good for close work. I even wedged it on the tailbone and a quick snack and I was thru. I have washed it and no rust no nothing. this thing is great. thinking I'll get a 2nd. now the sheath is just crap but i don't buy knives for the sheath. when I was processing the meat at home after the trip it was my goto knife for for the big cuts and then to a fillet knife for around the bones. one thing you'll notice is the tang was a hair larger than the handle and I thought it was going to be an issue cause I could feel the top edges of the tang, nope after I started cutting I didn't even notice.. cheap price not cheap blade..

My husband loves this! He uses it everyday and it is great quality and very strong and easy to sharpen. Definitely worth the value and definitely would recommend buying

Did the job it needed to but the sheath is subpar, but the blade is sharp and it sliced right thru the sheath and my finger 😂

This is an awesome knife, blade is super sharp enough to shave arm hair out of the box. The curvature of blade makes removing deer hide a lot easier due to design. Can’t go wrong purchasing. Very happy with quality and finish of this knife.

I liked everything about it the sheath fit nicely the knife fits my hand perfectly performance it did the job. You might not want to hear this but I used it to slice freshly cut bacon from a pig

This thing works so well for the project i needed it for i don't know what i would have used if i did not get this

Good knife for the money just disappointed that the sheath is not leather like how it says it is on description. I love any kind of leather sheath and I know for sure this wasn't ot for that reason only I gave it 3 stars

This blade stock is around 1/8 into thick and appears to be a high quality steel. Mine came extremely sharp out of the box. If I had to be critical of one thing it might be the patina in the blade since it has sort of a slight gloss and has a granular appearance. I’m going to use this knife in butchering our next full size hog next month. I am sure I will need longer blades as breaking knives but this will have its place in removing bacon from ribs.

Starting with the bad.. 1:The sheath is one of the worst i've ever seen i will make a proper one for it 2: even if i dont feel woble i know its not the most durable knife. The pro now 1 really sharp out of the box , but the blade is lot thinner than my other hunting knive so less durable but easier to sharoen 2 Really inexpensive if you want a cheap but really functionnal skinning knive.

Great knife but the case or sheath is basically garbage

I like the sharpness of the knife, I do not like the sheath for the knife. The sheath cut all the way through ans I was putting the knife back in it’s case and is useless now as a knife case. Needs to be a heavy leather instead of what is provided
