Very nice product
This heart monitor works much better than my last one. I believe it's the bluetooth 5.0 that makes the connectivity a breeze. Love this monitor as it's easy to put on and off. Batty life is also good as I have done 4 hours of bike riding and did not need to recharge. Great value for the money too. Would buy this again.

Good design and works after some learning
I like the stylish design with the long and bright bars, and the fact that it shows which of the five heart rate zones one is in. Can but doesn't need to be connected to a computer. During practice it is easier to glance at the color of the bar than look for the exact, but small. heart rate number on a computer screen. Knowing the zone is enough for most purposes. The arrangement or colors of the bars could be improved. The neighboring green and greenish-yellow bars are difficult to tell apart at the most important division point between zones 2 and 3. After the first two or three uses I intended to send it back as it showed wildly off the mark rates. Then I realized that the reason for the discrepancy was the movement of the muscles on my forearm during paddling that uses arm muscles. I now wear it on my tigh above the cuff of the leash. That's both better visible and a calm area during upper-body exercise. For bicyclists or runners forearm might be just the perfect location.

Good product, still have some relatively minor issues
This arm-based HRM replaced an ancient Wahoo chest strap HRM that was on its last legs. The old one only supported the Ant+ standard and therefore didn't work with Wahoo X. The old one connected to my Wahoo Elemnt bike computer just fine, but the Wahoo X app on my iPad did not register it since the iPad works through BT, and I was not going to invest in a BT dongle for an HRM that was clearly on its way out. Also, the chest strap solution was not the most convenient. I found myself forgetting to put it on, and discovering that fact only after I was on the bike. Also, you had to remember to wet the contact points, otherwise results would not register. So, it was time for an upgrade. I was going to spring on the extra $20 for the Wahoo Tickr arm solution, but this one seemed more cost-effective, and it didn't seem that I was going to lose anything. It was very easy to get going with it - charged it up, and then connected through BT to the Wahoo app on my iPhone. When I went to connect it to the iPad, it did not register. I had to disconnect from the iPhone to have it recognized by the iPad. Also, it did not register with the Elemnt initially. After some trial and error - not sure what combination worked - I got it to work with the Elemnt concurrently. During my first ride however, the iPad maintained connectivity, while the Elemnt lost it and finally turned off in the middle of the ride. I will continue to work with it to see if I can resolve the issue, but, for now, it is still a mystery - probably user error, but that remains to be seen. Overall, the Coospo is an excellent solution. It was easy to put on, and did not require electrode wetting. My heart rate showed up almost immediately, and seemed to be very accurate - I compared it to my Apple watch at various points in the ride, and it appeared very accurate. The sparse instruction sheet was marginally helpful, and I did not look into the online guides as the unit was fairly intuitive, aside from the issues discussed above. It is convenient, and does work relatively well.

Nice and sleek looking but that is not what I bought it for
No problems in connecting to the app and getting readings. The problem is, the readings are insanely inaccurate. Charged it to a solid green loaded the app and configured it with my info and took it for a walk for about 30 minutes. It quickly started going into an aerobic state and 15 minutes into my walk I was in the red, which is 90 to 100 percent of my max heart rate. A few minutes later it started to buzz when I check the app on the phone it was reporting 175 beats per minute. Meanwhile, I feel fine and can't even feel my heart is beating. Out of curiosity, to make sure I am not having a heart attack I put on my Samsung watch and headed out again for the same route. The highest I ever managed to register was 120 beats per minute. Disappointing. I could understand a little off but 50 beats off per minute is too much. I left it on my arm overnight paired with my phone. Now, I know my typical oxygen/heartbeat pattern from multiple other devices. It regularly and throughout the night showed a minimum of a 25-to 30 beats over what my comparison sensor detected. In conclusion, as much as I like the idea of a light indicator reporting the range I am at but the amount of inaccuracy in completely unacceptable. Not recommended!..

Does the job, just be prepared to have to finesse it a little bit.
Edit: This unit died 2 days after I wrote the review. Did I order the same one again? Sure did. Two years with heat and sweat, and it sure has been dependable. I'm also happy to see they now give you 2 bands so they must have been made aware of the Velcro issues. It uses the same charger as I had before so that's great to have an extra charger. I did look at other arm monitor options but none of them had the same bang for the buck as this one. So in 2 years, I'll buy it again. Two years is pretty good. My Wahoos lasted maybe 6 months and I had to play with them to get them to work. Wahoo customer service was great but the product was not great. This unit is indeed great. I have had this unit for about a year and a half now. It does work better than the Wahoo did . The Wahoo, I used to have to clean the contacts all the time. I have cleaned the contacts on this unit maybe once and it just keeps working. Drawbacks though...it's a weird charging system and you have to have the magnets lined up exactly perfectly. There's nothing that clicks in. Also the velcro started giving way pretty quickly. It's a very weak type of velcro and it will sometimes come loose while I am riding. But for the money it's pretty decent. Would I get it again? Yes. I created a little charging area where I know the magnet will meet the contact on the back of the unit, and I will use another velcro strap around it if I have to. I have done three hour rides and it stays charged. It is also very accurate because I have the same readings on my Samsung watch 7.

Good deal for a good heart monitor
I like it. Does what it's supposed to do. I can connect it to my Aviron Rower and my treadmill. No issues with connecting to phone or any other device. I'm very happy with my purchase. Battery life seems strong. I've had it a couple months and haven't even charged it more than once.

Provides Great Feedback on Workout
This is my second monitor and it works very well. It interfaces well with the Wahoo app and gives great feedback on pulse and calories when I am at the gym. I also like that you can just glance at the device and based on the color know if you are in your target zone for heart rate. The battery is solid, can go a week without needing a charge.

OK HR monitor w/ overshoot flaw noted on startup
Excellent HR monitor. Especially like the colored graphics on the app - good color graphic of overall cardio session. One minor flaw noted: when workout first starts, after a few minutes in when HR starts to increase, device overshoots actual HR -20% (eg reads 140+ when actual is 120). Easily corrected by momentarily turning off/on. It reads very accurately after that. Update: As shown on the heart rate plot from Heartool app, it is starting to overshoot at start on a regular basis. The plot shows both time it had to be reset- once at about 5 minutes in and again about 8 minutes in. Readings after that were checked to be reasonably accurate on two other devices. Not sure if the problem is hardware or program based. Either way it needs to be fixed before I buy any more COOSPO equipment.

Good product but output app is not good
Coospo has no app for runners. The official app is coospo rider which is only for cyclists. You need to use a different app named hearttool as per guidelines given in the product details. This app is very average. Sometimes it records data, other times it completely missed the data. Not very useful.
