Before I had Full Fibre Broadband installed I used my phone on the old copper wiring. When I had it put in my no choice of mine I moved the phone into another room and bought this to extend the cable but found the phone did not ring in or make calls out (even though there is a dialing tone) It would be perfect on the old copper wiring but not compatable with Full Fibre Broadband. My fault for not checking I suppose but why would I even think that. So that you know this extention cable is only suitable for the old phone lines that are not on Full Fiber Broadband connection. Maybe at a later date the BB companies will rectify this and I hope they will. I give a three star because it was not faulty, but as I can't use it through no fault of my own I can't give a 5.
