Lume Acidified Body Wash - 8.5 oz (Unscented)

Makes a lovely lather when showering OR when used as a bubble bath. It makes the water feel very soft and smooth. The fragrance is ok, but I wish it was real essential oils rather than an artificial fragrance. I was surprised that even after only one use, it controlled body odor for a few days. Also, my skin just felt better. Cleaner, and more calm. I didn't realize that it was not just dryness irritating my skin, but the alkalinity of other body washes. With Lume my skin just feels soothed, compared to before. I wish it was more moisturizing, but it does seem to help my skin hold onto moisture better. I went ahead and subscribed because I love it and so doe my spouse.

It really worked. I matched it up with the body spray and it does what it claims it will do. That is to stop body odor. It lathers up just right. It leaves my body feeling moisturized and fresh smelling not too loud. Love the power scent. Even though it a bit pricey compared to another brand, the size of the tube made it worth the price.

I'm obsessed with this stuff! I usually wash my body twice and use this first to let the AHA's in it do their work. I really like that this has Mandelic acid in it to control odor and very lightly exfoliate, which is perfect for sensitive skin. It cleans well, doesn't leave any odd film or residue and while I don't think it is necessarily moisturizing, it does not strip the skin. This is perfect for daily use, foams up well on my African net sponge, and does everything it claims! It is especially handy during the summer to help get rid of odors. A little pricey, but I find a little goes a long way, especially if you mix it with another body wash (EOS Vanilla Cashmere is my go to with this to create a yummy toasted coconut & vanilla scent)

This is the second time I've ordered this, and the scent is nice and mild, not overpowering. I like the idea of using a bodywash that helps me prevent odor, especially in nether regions. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't lather. That may be because it is an "acidified" body wash? But Lume, please note - if you're paying $20 for a wash you use regularly, and you pour a quarter sized to half dollar sized amount on your washcloth, and it barely lathers, you use more product. Since there is little lather, which is what you generally see on your washcloth or puff, you tend to use more. The wash is also clear, so it's really hard to see if there is any left on your washcloth or puff. Since it's clear, and doesn't lather much, you really have to keep using more product then probably necessary. So overall, I like it, but wish they would fix this issue because you go through more than you need.

With the heat index, the temps have hit the 110°F mark and it's south Louisiana...so the humidity offers no breaks. It's hot...all day. And even with coating myself in deodorant, I feel gross. This stuff has made me feel a bit more confident that I won't end up smelling like a lumberjack that has been unable to shower in a week. It doesn't lather as much as I thought it would, and there is a bit of that unscented" scent initially. But once finished scrubbing, you smell like...nothing...in a good way. I I don't use soap on my face, but forgot to refill my face cleanser in the shower, so I took a chance. No irritation! Did not dry out my face. My skin feels great after using it...no dry feeling...no residue feeling. Just clean. And soft. My skin feels great! Even my deodorant seems to be working better. (During the summer, I use antiperspirant/deodorant for underarms and body deodorant everywhere else) I put off trying the Lume Acidified Body Wash because of the price, and because I've been a Dove faithful for decades. I don't generally use perfumed soaps, so I stuck with the unscented. It does have an odd smell...much like the Lume unscented deodorant. But just like the deodorant, it doesn't linger. Overall...I really like it. I don't suspect it would irritate sensitive skin. This might also be something good to use when fast showers are a requirement or necessity...like camping. You can hit all the really hot spots in a hurry and still keep the wildebeest smell from building up. It definitely helps make a quick shower feel like a successful shower. Will be ordering more.

Definitely a keeper. Helps balance my ph and keep the order away in particular from my under arms. I love the baby powder scent. The price is steep for the size. However, a little goes a long way. This is my staple and I have put many others on this product and they say it helps them to stay fresh all day.

Absolutely no skin irritation, gentle, no fragrance, it lathers extremely well. My skin feels moisturize after use this body wash is not drying. If you have a decyl glucoside allergy like myself this body wash is it! The only con is the price, it’s pricey. I highly recommend! Use a loofah for best results.

I saw a video on tik tok of Jaclyn Hill raving about this and went ahead and purchased. Honestly, it says 24 hr odor control, which im not sure if that means you might smell a little bit but not too much or wont smell at all. I usually shower at night time, it just depends but i havent seen the odor control and i use it on my groin area the most, like right in between my thighs but the groin. If i sweat a lot i feel like i can smell myself when i go to the bathroom. So idk, i like that a little bit goes a long way but im not convinced this does much. I smell the same before i started using this.

Always use this, makes you feel clean and skin soft.

I have the deodorant cream and thought I was getting the same thing in a bigger size but was surprised when opening that is was body wash. But couldn’t return as I had opened the tube….so made the best of it and I am loving the wash. Very nice surprise!

This bodywash is insanely expensive but it works. I received a sample of the toasted coconut scented one from the company when I ordered direct and I absolutely 💯 love it. It makes me feel way cleaner than just soap. I use my regular body wash to start but I use Lume exclusively for pits and privates. Amazing and my pits no longer smells like remnants of my deodorant. No matter how much soap (bar or wash) I can always smell the faint smell of deodorant as if it's not clean enough. This leaves them smelling clean. The smell doesn't linger like other body washes but it does for short time. I also didn't think I would enjoy the smell but was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't as I imagined it smelling. This two pack works out to be cheaper than buying two individual bottles. As for the leaking that many are complaining of on the reviews this can be remedied by simply closing the cap properly. It's a snap cap. Use your desired amount and snap the lid back properly. I never had spillage or leakage with my first and none whatsoever with these. I would love to explore a less expensive option but it would have to be tested and approved my my gyno so for now I'll still with this. A little goes a long way and as I'm only using it in three areas it will last a long time even with showering twice a day. Conclusion: It works. It's expensive. Too expensive to be honest BUT, I love that confidence it brings out knowing you are super clean.

I came across this product and was a little skeptical at first. I decided to give it a shot. So glad I did. I’ve used two full bottles so far, and just reordered two more. I got clean tangerine and it smells great. I do feel it’s helped to keep me feeling fresher, longer. I’ve also noticed that it has helped brighten my skin some, in areas I had some darkening - so that’s bonus!
