Perfect this is perfect

Bought this to extend my usb3 ports.Very easy to use and although I haven’t installed the supplied power supply (yet) it still works out of the box.Lack of plug sockets at home but will get round to adding the power to the hub.Only problem I have is one of my usb devices isn’t on at windows boot up but if I switch off that port then switch it back on the device is seen. Could be attributed to not having the power supply installed but still 5*’s (because I thinks that’s my problem)

The recent purchase of two high-capacity external hard drives has reduced the number of free USB 3.0 ports to just one so, after sometimes connecting a memory stick, that is reduced to zero. An existing 7-port Atollla hub has proven extremely reliable, hence the purchase of "Powered USB 3.0 Hub, atolla 10 Ports USB Data Hub Splitter with Individual ON/Off Switches and 12V/2.5A Power Adapter USB Extension for Mouse, Keyboard, Hard Drive and More USB Devices" as its successor.As is now common, each port is individually controlled by its own switch so that any not in current use or unneeded can be turned off. They are brightly illuminated and it is quite obvious which ports are 'live'. This is in contrast with another brand's hub also used with another PC where its LEDs are so small as to be effectively invisible in daylight and room lighting, and only barely visible in a darkened room; that defeats the reason for the illumination.Atolla choose to use a captive 1m USB lead with their hubs although the power cable is free and fitted with a coaxial plug. The adapter provided can vary, specifically in the amperage it produces at 12v (although some use 5V versions), and is usually changed according to the number of ports provided.Prices have risen significantly in recent months (sometimes by 50% or more) as manufacturers and distributors blame COVID restrictions, supply shortages and distribution delays as their reasons.

What I need to replace hub with fewer USB’s - can’t give a definitive review as it’s only been in use for a short time. So far, so good.

I love this USB hub, I have had loads of them and this is my favourite. It's really handy to be able to turn stuff off too.

I bought this back in September 2022 and I'm still using it to this day. Needed more USB slots for my VR setup that allow 3.0 and it's still working perfectly.Good little 3.0 USB hub.All the lights still work perfectly like it's day 1.All the ports work perfectly.SturdyWorked fine for me, no complaints. Put it on my desk and haven't moved it since.

The media could not be loaded. Doesn’t work, keeps powering on and off, I don’t want to give a bad review, I attempted many tune to get in touch for a replacement, no reply or resolution

Works faultlessly. No slowdown experienced with my connected devices even when all slots in use. I particularly like that I'm able to switch off/on individual slots. Nice price too.
