Not just for milk frothing
Love this thing! Works well for frothing milk or just mixing dry product into your drink. I use it to mix my collagen into my hot coffee, and to mix my hydration drinks and protein drinks too. Great value, easy to clean. The battery cover can pop off frequently if not put on properly.

Snapped in half
This item seemed to work well--batteries easy to put, easy to clean, decent enough foam produced in little time. Bear in mind that as batteries run out it loses a lot of its power and becomes sluggish, taking longer to produce foam--this is just a sign that you will be needing batteries soon, not that the item is malfunctioning. I was happy overall but one day as we were using the wand snapped right off. We only use this with milk and are careful not to be hitting the sides of the mug, also careful when cleaning under water and replacing in the drawer after towel drying. There is no reason for this to happen. The wand simply came off the body of the frother one day when I started foaming the milk. We've not used it that often. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion. I'd ask for a refund or a replacement but it is probably too late since I bought it. Not what I expect of this brand (also use their French press coffee maker, among other products)

Powerful motor.
Very powerful. Can send milk flying across the room in a 6 foot spray pattern. If you use it correctly, it froths with ease.

Good but not Perfect
I purchased this whip because it stands by itself so holder necessary, but if there's something sticky on the countertop the battery cap pops off when you pick it up. The next problem is the switch its harder than I would expect for a slider switch to turn on and off. A push button on off switch would be more accurate while preparing milk unless you are doing an entire pitcher. This will whip a cup of milk very fast and do a darn nice job of it. My only real problem with this is it does it so fast its hard to stop in time with the hard slider switch which results in frequent spills. I got this to make morning lattes easy not to create more work!

Reliable and effective milk foamer and utility stirrer
It just keeps going and going ... We went through many foamers until we found this product. They typically failed within weeks. We did have a Bodum fail; after years of use, it developed an internal short, I think, becoming hot to the touch and failing. We're on our second, and it's going strong after months and months. Somehow they've been engineered to give excellent battery life. Our Bodum whips up copious foam in seconds. Turns out to be handy for lots of other small stirring jobs. For example, when it's time to dissolve a teaspoon or two of yeast in a couple of cups of water, the Bodum makes quick work of it. They require two AA batteries. Look sharp when you remove the black plastic cap to change batteries and note how the curvature matches the top of the casing. You need to put it back the same way or it'll not snap into place.

Top pops off
I bought this in December and every single day I have had to re-insert the batteries and reattach the top. It WILL NOT stay on. It's driving me nuts but it does work well as a frother.

Works excellent with fresh batteries
Don't get me wrong, this is a good product. The only down side is there is a noticeable change in performance as the batteries weaken. They will still froth the milk, it just takes a little more time/effort. All in all this is a good product if you only plan on useing it every once in a while, but not if you are going to use it several times a week. Or if you don't care about burning through batteries.

Cap fail
Works as advertised. However the battery cover keeps popping open from day one as the cap is not very secure. In the end we had to tape it up.
