Q: Does this lamp include an LED bulb?

yes but the bulb cannot be replaced and you have to buy a new lamp. mine went out after 2.5 years. I had to buy 2 new lamps so I got some that had actual replaceable LED light bulbs

Q: When oerated with a wall switch, will the light come on at the last setting of the dimmer switch?

Yes, if you have it plugged into a standard outlet. I have mine plugged into an Alexa controlled outlet and it does not come on from the last setting. It comes on full bright, you can then dim manually if you are home.

Q: Will this lamp work with sockets that are controlled by an on/off switch? I live in a very old apartment.

Not sure I fully understand the question. If the socket is on the lamp should work fine. The low power consumption should help with older wiring.
