The pot took some finagling to get together. I am glad I didn’t keep it on my lanai like I wanted to originally as i misunderstood patina vs what this does. It’s been over a year and the layers flake off. I’m not sure how some of these people are getting this beautiful copper look all the time but I’m happy with it in the yard. My plumerias love it and have flourished. It protected them during hurricanes Helene & Milton. *DO NOT PUT ON A SURFACE YOU DO NOT WANT STAINED* the layers keep coming off & we are in July 2025 Would recommend

Really like these, they are made of a thicker gauge than I thought they would have been made of. Most important, American made! Highly recommended!

Relatively easy to put together if you have the right tools. Have a wrench and a power drill and it’s much easier. Also, be ready to drill additional drainage holes as the two tiny holes at the bottom of this are insufficient. Good quality beyond that.

I’m leaving 5 stars because they hold up (have had some almost 4 years now) but I want to say how **insanely difficult** these are to put together. The corners are insane to get to, the screws strip from hand tightening them (and don’t even try using a drill or all your screws are done for). I’ve tried with other people to come help because I thought maybe it was me? No, I’ve had 3 other people helping at the same time all trying and we’re all getting the same results. We have all the tools, wrenches, hand ratchet, power tools, all of it. The only thing that helped is actually getting different hardware that’s a little better quality so it doesn’t strip the screws just from hand tightening it. The Phillips head screw driver they give you needs to be a size up as it is part of the stripping screw issue outside of the screws being a bad quality. Once you get them together they hold up. But even with help plan for a long long time.

I ended up returning this item as it did not blend well with the rest of my back yard decor. I am writing this review not for the steel planter boxes which appeared to be very high quality but for my interaction with Jordan from DIY Cartel. Long story short- UPS would not accept both returns without separate tracking numbers (despite having shipped them with the same tracking number). I called Amazon customer service who put me in touch with Jordan for a separate shipping label. Jordan was immediately responsive and a class act! These were not cheap items but Jordan helped greatly with the problem and issued a refund almost immediately. In today's world, it is rare to find someone who actually cares about the consumer. I will always first consider DIY Cartel for future purchases!

I’m gonna tell you right now… there’s no way these are built in 4 minutes like their product video says. They don’t specify what tools you need and you need VERY specific tools to make this come together. The bolts and screws do not play well and it’s taking forever. Bogus marketing and honestly it’s frustrating because of how expensive they are. They are industrial strength though and beautiful slabs of steel, I’ll give them that.

Obsessed with this planter. I like it more than all of my other planters haha I want a bunch more. The only tip I would say is don’t put it on concrete as the rust will stain it, But it’s absolutely beautiful, easy to put together, super super sturdy and well made. Feels very high end & luxury but also brute and rugged haha i love it.😍🌸❤️

I adore my new corten steel planters! They’re the perfect modern industrial vibe that I wanted against my greenhouse. They were easy to put together and the oxidation process was magic! They transformed before my eyes and have the aged patina that I was looking for. They really elevate my garden and I couldn’t recommend them more!

RUSTASTIC !!! I absolutely love these planters! They are such a statement piece in the garden. I’m so excited to style them throughout the seasons, flowers, pumpkins, winter greenery… the possibilities are endless! They are strong, sturdy and easy to assemble. I was worried the rusting process would take longer than I wanted, but no, they rusted as soon as I sprayed them with peroxide and vinegar!
