It works well if you use the included shackle through the SAK key ring and clip the shackle through the spring clip. It’s easy to take on/off with one hand and after a few reps it’s just as easy to do without looking. I position the knife so it hangs off the belt and is partially hidden in a pocket, out of view and also so it doesn’t swing around freely. I will say that although it does have the vertical space to fit on a 1.5” belt, it’s pretty tight if your belt is thick. I have a few double thickness leather belts and the clip leaves a distinct impression and wear area in the leather. Basically because of the extra thickness, the belt won’t completely fit in the belt cut out resulting in the front facing part of the clip and the inside portion of the clip not closing /meeting correctly over a thick belt. “Regular” thickness belts are fine. I mention it because when choosing this product, I didn’t think the thickness of the belt would matter. I don’t remember reading anything to that effect in the description either, so I think it’s worth noting. YMMV I purchased the black version, IIRC it was “PVD”. TBH, it wears pretty quickly and shows the base metal color. If you’re the kind of person that’s bothered by scratches, you may not like how the black wears. It doesn’t bother me and frankly at this price point, I think it’s unreasonable to think that they’d use something hard wearing like DLC. I’ve attached two pics. One shows how I attach my SAK using the shackle + wear pattern and the second showing how it doesn’t fully seat over the belt if your belt is too thick.
