Took out our funny water from tap taste.
Filters make the coffee taste so much better. They fit perfectly and was so glad I purchased these. Tried coffee without filters and it had the same funny taste our tap water has. These took care of that. Great product.

3 month filter
They work great but don't last, as a filter, for 4mo. More likely, stretching it- 3mo.

Cost effective and easy to use
We have a Cuisinart 14-cup Brew Central (CBC-7400PC) coffee maker that we purchased from a membership warehouse and it has a slot for these charcoal filters. I can't tell for certain but I do feel like it has made our coffee taste a little bit better. They do not come individually packaged and so we put the spares in a ziploc bag to keep them fresh. They're really easy to use - you just pull out the long plastic holder from the water well, unlock the filter compartment, and slip it in. When you need to change it, you just repeat the step and remove the older filter. We had an older Cuisinart DCC-1200 that this would have fit also, but that coffee maker died after about 13 years of regular use. I am hoping that with these filters we can keep our newer Cuisinart making good coffee for just as long.

Takes out a lot of the bitterness
After about 3 months my coffee (dark roast) really tasted bitter and I realized I hadn't changed the filter. New filter inserted, and the coffee tasted much better.
