Great Tripod for the Price
This is a great tripod for the novice to semi-pro. The included ball head is better than you get with many comparable clones. The bag is decent. I would not say this is a portable lightweight tripod. In fact, its quiet heavy at 3.71 lbs for just the tripod and ball head. However, you are rewarded with better stability and features vs other lighter similar design clones. The ball head on this tripod features three knobs vs just two knobs I have seen on similar clones. You have one for each degree of freedom, pitch, roll and yaw. Although, the pitch and roll knobs are not truly independent. Tightening on one does affect the other axis drag. If you want to lock it down, this one locks down very well. The yaw movement is very stiff, yet smooth. I expect it will loosen some over time. I can see you using medium weight setups with this ball head with no issues. Up to about 5 lbs will not be an issue. Above that you may be left for wanting. This tripod is pretty sturdy up to its maximum height extension. There is some camera shake at the maximum, and its best one extension level down from that. This is not an issue for me at 5'10". Plenty of height for me even when one extension level down. On the legs I find the twist to lock to be better and work faster than the flip to lock you see on many other clones. This a personal choice. The feet are just pieces of rubber and do not have spikes or anything like that. Overall, this is a keeper for me, even though I also own a slightly smaller and lighter clone version of this from another manufacture that works nearly the same way. This will be my out the car, in the backyard, at camp tripod. My other one will be for the back pack, on the trail, in downtown, etc. For this price, I would buy this one again.

Great little tripod
Once you are familiar with all the knobs and other features this tripod has You will love this tripod. Very sturdy and compact. A little on the heavy side but I chalk that up to how sturdy it is. Another reviewer mentioned it was like a contortionist. I would agree. You can get this thing into any angle or position. Which is a must when you want to get that perfect shot. Nothing is worse than knowing how you want to shoot something and not being able to get it. One of my favorite features is using it upside down for those super low shots. For those times when you are mounting a phone or other light camera you do not have to reverse the center pole. This is really handy for getting quick shots without setup. I can easily change tripod locations 50 times or more in a day so every little advantage helps. I wouldn't recommend taking it backpacking or throw it in a Camelpack and go mountain biking but it is small enough and I probably will. They do have a carbon fiber version that would be better for that. If I knew how much I would like this tripod I might have gone with the carbon model.

I would buy again.
I like it. Took it backpacking in Africa. The lightweight and small compact size, (Shortest/tallest combo I could find) make it easy to slip in and out of a backpack. Construct. - Legs are strong - The neck sways a bit in the wind while fully extended - Quick lock and release legs are awesome! - Plastic inner locking mechanisms Pros: Light Weight Cons Feels cheap Looks Cheap (inner parts are yellow) The ball-Head - firm and stong. (No slipping) - Small and lighter than other heads I have - The knobs are easy to use because they differ in size and location. - The tension knobs are plastic, thus four stars. Monopod Feature (Really cool) Pros: - Durable - Tall - Easy - Cons - - The screw is separate all together! It would have been great if this feature was better designed. The screw is not attached to either portion, so you have to carry it around just in case you need it

TWO IN ONE
The biggest pro for this is versatility you can go either tri-pod or mono-pod. The tri-pod is light enough to take on vacations but there are times the three legs wont work so this tri-pod will convert into a mono-pod the only issue they don't have clear instructions on how to do it. But after playing with it I figured it out. I also love the case it will fit into my suitcase with no problem. Also they have it that the head comes off easy so I can use it on both pods. The price was also reasonable. It appears to be really sturdy and it has a hook on the bottom when I need stability. You can also invert it to do macro photography which is something I am interested in.

Good affordable CF tripod.!
Needed a lightweight and portable tripod. This one seemed to fit the bill and the price point was just right. Didn't need anything crazy expensive from a major brand. It has served me very well.! Seems to be of good quality and well built. It's my go to tripod for everything. I take it with me everywhere I go on my adventures. Super compact and lightweight. I've been very happy with it. Unfortunately one of the little plastic pieces cracked. Contacted the seller and was very happy to hear they would fix the issue!!! So happy.!!! :)))))) If you are looking for a good lightweight carbon fiber tripod without breaking the bank. Get this.!

Pro-Level product!
I've had this for a few weeks now, and thus far am quite thrilled with the price/performance. The features and functionality are really top-notch and the workmanship excellent. This is a very well designed field tripod and I have been banging it around in the backcountry of my local Rocky Mountains – it takes all the punishment. Some of my favorite features: • Compact & Lightweight (~14") • Quick-locking ball-head with fine adjustment • Panning Plate for smooth panoramic shots • Counter-weight hook (Great for high-wind situations) • Inverse mount for macro- and close-up product photography • 3 Position locking legs I'd highly recommend this to any pro-sumer photographer.

Wow
This Tripod is well worth the money I paid for it. It is very well made. The features are the same as those you would find on a much more expensive tripod. It is not as compact as I thought it was and it is a little heavier than I expected, but it still fits into the outside pocket of of my camera backpack. The ball head and panning feature are as smooth as butter and the head holds my camera rock steady. This is a great purchase for the budget minded photographer, but the tripod does not look, feel , or perform like a budget tripod.

Arrived in parts
This is my second Zomei tripod. The first was the same type. When this was arrived today, I was disappointed. It's not fully assembled and not ready to use. No instruction, one of the legs is falling out when open the screw. the middle console is in parts, you need to be assembly and figure out how. This is a very good tripod BUT if I order one, I expect to use it immediately, and I don't want to assembly the parts.

Excellent!
This tripod arrived fast. Exactly as described. I am happy with this purchase. I got this tripod to record my daughter’s performance on the stage at school. It works perfectly. Here are some pros of this tripod. •Well made with good material - carbon fibre •Sturdy but compact •Portable with the shoulder bag •Universal ball head handle with clip •Easy conversion to mono-pod •Built- in bubble level to check if the camera levels. •Multiple angles and flexible height I will continue using this tripod for my photography project in the coming month.
