Excellent quality cast iron tea kettle that looks fantastic. The hemp-wrapped handle, hobnail detailing around the upper half, and subtle floral/grass motif on the lid give it a traditional and stylish appearance. The included instructions for first use and ongoing maintenance are clear and easy to follow, which is a nice touch. It feels well made, heats evenly, and looks great on display when not in use. Very pleased with this purchase and would happily recommend it.

Absalutly love it. Makes a great cup of tea. I dont know is the info in the leaflet is correct but anyway I love the background and the product is great. Worth following the instructions and remember it is small so only one cup at a time. Works well on Induction and Gas hobs.

Superb quality and such beautiful style. Unfortunately I ordered and paid for the 900ml and received the 650ml which is annoying. I don’t have time to deal with a return and no way to contact them for a refund of the price difference. Say thing that, the smaller size seems a good size for me to move around easily. As it’s pretty heavy. It keeps tea hot for a while. I say it would make a great gift for a tea lover.

Enough capacity with good size, quite sturdy , good quality for green tea etc . Beverage can be served to guests with this tea kettle . It would add elegance to any dinner table.

Excellent teapot and even with the finest loose leaf tea, no leaves escaped the built in strainer.

There's damage to the required item.

This kettle looks beautiful sitting on the stove. But it's more than just a pretty face. Full of water it will boil in 9 minutes on our flat top electric range. A second filling boils in 4 minutes. The handle stays perfectly cool when the water boils. Two notes: First, it is cast iron and quite heavy. Not a problem for us - we cook in cast iron all the time so we expected the weight and we're used to it. It is also well- balanced and easy to pour, which makes the weight less of an issue. Second, the little knob on the lid gets VERY hot. Our solution is in the picture - drill a 3/8 inch hole in a champagne cork and press it on the lid. A wine cork would work as well, but we liked the look of the champagne cork better. All in all a great purchase that we look forward to enjoying for a long, long time.

When this kettle arrives, the first thing you will notice is the splendid packaging. Imported from Japan where it was manufactured, the separate and attractive box itself makes a decorative accessory. The kettle is within a durable cloth bag, and another bag for the strainer, which holds the kettle. The instruction booklet is in Japanese, but as noted on the product page, the kettle may be used directly on the stove or if you prefer, only as a server. It is heavy duty iron; the spout will not chip and the lid knob will not break off with routine use. The fine quality is evident. I use the tetsubin every morning.

This is a very high-quality and aesthetic little tea pot. Comes elegantly packaged from Japan (with Japanese instructions), and looks very authentic. Heat the water over the stove to the recommended temperature. I use an instant read thermometer that pokes throught the litle breather hole in the teapot's lid. Note that you really need to use the pot at the recommended fill level (2/3rds full). That way the tea imerses in the water. If you use too little water, the stainless steel tea infuser will ride too high and the tea won't imerse. Keeps the tea warm for a while, longer than a porcelain pot, but not as long as I had hoped for. Heated to around 185F, the pot's lid and handle are not too hot to handle with bare hands. I would purchase again, but don't imagine i'll need to since the quality is so high.

Lovely but I find the sieve inside is too shallow, or in other words, not tall enough. Should reach deeper to be submerged fully to allow full infusion
